There’s no balancing Mauga imo. Either he completely dominates or completely throws.
Really badly designed tank, I don’t see how they fix this without killing his playability.

Of course he does; he was sledgehammered when he wasn’t egregiously strong in the first place. Him and Illari have comparable stats: gutterbutt stats. And he theoretically has good interactions with and against Mauga.

I…don’t really notice it that much if I’m being honest apart from the healing ammo.
I don’t often need to use my Life Grip that often to where I notice the cooldown nerf. I don’t know if reverting that is the way to go, though. That seems like one of the major Support pain points of, “I can just deny the enemy team value without even needing to put effort into this”.
I wish they’d buff his alt fire so that he’s actually contributing damage every now and then. It’s so lackluster lol

I remember they’ve once teased a Mauga primary-like passive to him where he poisons the target after a few shots. That would make for a great buff.
Yeah, so he still needs buffs because he’s punished for trying to do damage—even moreso after the nerfs, which pushed him further into simply healing.
