calls it map voting yet if 10 people vote for one map and 2 for another the 2 win? thats not voting thats a raffle. they made the match cancel if someone leaves at the start as well… so its just comp without the points

If you lose with 80% chance to get your preferred map, just suck it up - the two that voted for something else have every right to get a shot on their map as well.
Look at it on the bright side - you can actually influence what map you are likely to get if not outright block out the third one if you really dislike the map.

i just think they shouldnt call it a vote if its not actually a vote. also i think it would be more suited for comp instead of qp too

It’s a vote for the map pool on the next match. It’s not a “majority wins, therefore automatically map XYZ is played”, yet it is still a vote, just not what you actually want.
I think it is a good system tbh. High vote count will statistically shift things in your favour (if it is your vote) and you actually get to exclude maps unless some clown votes on map 3 neither team likes - but the clown also desserves his 10% chance.

What a start to the new season. My first three games in QP RQ and all three games cancelled because someone left the match. What is the point of cancelling the game if one person leaves?
Is this done to just force everyone to Stadium so they can actually play a game?

Im a solo Q player. Why would I want to play on a map you voted for. You dont get to choose for me. Bad enough you can limit my hero pool
