Map reworks instead of new maps? New low achieved

On Junkertown all you did was to add new building on the first checkpoint, this is what we are going to get instead of new maps? A new building added somewhere on a map or some geometry changed instead of a new map? Going lower and lower.

What’s next? Hero reworks instead of new ones?
It wouldn’t surprise me, since you break every promise you made regarding OW2.
How about you also return to the loot boxes system?! Oh wait, that’s the real reason of OW2. How convenient you got rid of everything OW2 promised, with the exception of the new monetization system.

We are getting a new push map in s11. A new game mode this year starting with 2 new maps. I will happily take reworks to some of the worse maps.

Most likely yes, less big additions and more changes that can be done without coding

ngl id take additions in cover on old maps over recieving new maps for flashpoint/push/5cp

I will happily take both

Map reworks are good. What I’m saying is that they should still release new maps alongside the reworks. As I said, on JT they added a new building, and called it a rework. That should negate a new map?

They literally are. We know of at least 3 maps coming this year.

Getting new maps is good and all, but when most of the OW1 maps were designed in a different era it’s only appropriate that we get maps that fit today’s game design.

New maps are NICE but I really would rather queue into a game and not see Havana and sigh because the map is terrible.

If we get good reworks to numbani circuit Havana and dorado instead of an extra map or so I’m 100% onboard

We also already know we’re getting pretty much the same number of maps we’d normally expect in a year ~3 so it’s not a big loss

Reworking old maps (specifically sniper maps and dorado to make them less miserable to play) is a fantastic idea though.

I think it takes a while to make new playable maps, we won’t get a new one every season. Just because they re-worked one doesn’t mean “we won’t ever get a new map” and it “negates” a new map. As others have said, there’s new maps coming.

Yea I think Havana is in desperate need of a rework

Honestly, I don’t really care about new maps that much in the first place.

We have 27 maps at the moment.
If we get a new map, we get to see it like 3-4 out of 100 matches on average.
I definitely would appreciate more maps for the newer modes, which have fairly limited amounts of maps, I just don’t think it’s that excited of a content drop.

Honestly, good. I’d rather them rework a map than make a new push map which would mean having to play push more often
