I don’t really know why there needs to be a pool unless there’s 50+ maps. They aren’t that hard to learn.
Anyway, I’m as excited as anyone that the two worst maps are gone for season 19. But season 20 is probably going to get Horizon Lunar and/or Paris back in the rotation and with only 12 maps in rotation they’re going to come up a lot more often than they do now. That’s going to be awful.
Hopefully Bliz will use this time to rework them a bit so they are not as bad
All 2cp is trash. It requires too much team work to win with strangers and if your team doesn’t run a defensive ult you can just lose as soon as the enemy team presses Q enough times. And even if you do have a defensive ult, they can just use one DPS ult to bait it out and then grav/dragon to win after. That’s true of any game mode but it’s more pronounced on 2cp.

Because 60% of the maps in this game SUCK
As long as king’s row is in and horizon is out, I’m happy.
But they aren’t enabling a pool because the maps suck, they’re doing it so people can better learn the maps.
Just get rid of all the 2CP maps. I’d play anything over 2CP. So bad! I play tank so these maps are torture for me. I hate them all!
Well to be fair they wouldn’t just directly say “these maps are awful” but was that seriously the reason they gave?? Lol
I mean 2 months of no paris is good.
I am sure they will improve it somehow by season 20, they know people hate it and it is objectively badly designed
