in rivals mantis’s heal lingers on a target but can be pumped more if you use more on them weaver should have his heal linger like this i whink it would be very good and let him be a main healer like he’s designed to be

Supports being to heal and dps at the same time is what led to GOATS.

Moira’s the only one lingering healing that can be pumped for more healing through a resource. Otherwise, Lifeweaver runs on a burst-oriented healing system similar to Ana, and Baptiste.

As a general note, Lifeweaver has one of the highest healing totals in the game amongst the healing roster. Like all other Supports, he also falls into the main-healer category.

No, Tanks being as strong as resistant as they are is what led to GOATS. Supports having all the supportive and utility options led to them having an outsized influence. Most of the Supports picked for GOATS tended to be on the lower end of healing spectrum.

Yes but idk if that’s necessary. He has decent ish ranged heal that can’t miss. I just feel like his healing isn’t what needs to be touched if they want to make him find a place in the game. He’s a utility hero, and his utility is both annoying to play against but also not that strong at the same time.

Kinda feels like when people ask Mercy’s healing to get buffed when they probably should just look at rez and her movement to make her better while not making her more directly annoying.

What led to GOATS was Widowmaker making the DPS role obsolete. Only tanks could stand in the open in the tiers she ruled. The GOATS team literally cited the ongoing Widow Arms Races going on in pro-play as their reason to tank stack - they didnt have a Widow player to compete.

Tank stacking had been a thing for years in high ranks thanks to her.

Brig was nerfed and replaced eventually. GOATS kept going because Widow kept her oneshot.
