There are still misconceptions regarding aim trainers as a large portion of players legitimately think they don’t work.
But let me tell you, you will most definitely get out of aim training what you put into it. Take it from me… someone whose first PC FPS game was OW… I was straight dog dooky at aiming.
But a year or two ago I started playing AimLab for 15-20 mins before I play OW and now my friends constantly compliment me on my aim.
It also relieves a lot of stress in game as I know if I’m not playing well, I’m simply just having an off day, where as in the past I would’ve been like “I’m so bad at aiming and will never get better what’s the use”.
All that said, they definitely should not be required lol, but if anyone is curious about them… you will see improvement if you actually try.
OW is a CASUAL shooter. We dont go pro. We want to chill or sweat in the game, but not train. Its maybe a good idea, but its not fun. We play the game to have fun and not to win and get money from it.
Thats we have the ranks for. If you play better you get higher and if not then you are stuck at rank X. There is no problem.
why? just pick symmetra, cassidy, mei, moira, mercym , reaper or orisa.
Indeed, I find the bots are not quick enough to be good aim trainers.
Fair, but I feel having an official aim training mode would be more cool as well as convenient.
The best training is field experience
I don’t play comp but…
Would 5 minutes of aim training really do anything? From what I’ve seen don’t most people warm up with a game of qp or something anyway before a comp match?
Seems like if you’re trying to improve aim, 5 minutes before a match isn’t going to do much?
Ok keep in mind this is me tired after a long day of work n whatnot running on my 6th cup of coffee for the day…

Both games are whack lol. Second code has lots of verticality which is fun.
Behold.

I hate to break it to you, but if you’re playing with and against a lot of people who have terrible aim, your aim isn’t so great either.
It’s either that or your gamesense is so terrible that it’s bringing your overall effectiveness down to their level.
Either way, you’re playing with people of similar overall skill levels, so it may be time to have a look in the mirror.

No it really doesn’t
It’s one of the easiest abilities to use. The cylinder is huge.
And how often is it used?
TDM is an entirely different animal compared to the actual main modes. The ones the game was actually designed for.
and TDM is supposed to teach you this?
My edpi is 21600) And my 270mm mouse mat is ~4x360) My aim… does not exist, however
Console players don’t really need aim training since they have soft autoaim functions for controllers.
Best aim trainers are in other games lol.
it is really not that deep. no one needs to be forced to do aim training.

This is certainly one of the takes of all time.
I know we need to keep property values low, but this is less of a gunshot and more like cannon fire.

I propose that sending me nudes should be a requirement to do placements on a new account.
Can you send a code?
I have half your sensitivity I want to see how you spin.
Nah i’d rather they increased the requirement to 250-350 wins in QP with an additional IQ test to be fully able to play comp games…
No. Zero Awareness is the biggest skill issue in the game.
The majority of people who come fresh off of 50 wins in QP have zero IGIQ thus no awareness whatsoever and that’s why they lose and get stuck in bronze and that is also why a lot of other players who end up with them on their team lose and gets stuck in silver/gold.
