Forced 2-2-2 only shows that people want to be controlling not that you are going to rocket out of your rank. I mean as a sombra player I’m more comfortable with 2 other dps playing with me especially a reaper because we shred comps. Do I get that every match? No of course not. My rank goes up and down and idc like its expected. Whats this going to really change? because if you stay at the same rank with role que then was was the point of all this? Too me it just says " I want control of everything even if it means I stay at the same rank and I’M NOTFLEXIBLE WITH DIFFERENT COMPS." Like come argue because after this goes live I’m going straight to forums to see everyone still complain

Exactly, that will change nothing, because people don’t want to work on themselves but blame others. The church of 2-2-2 will not stop whining about teammates. They will keep claiming they get throwers every match.
Parents missed something in upbringing, if players behave like their life depends on rank in a game.

I’m getting all the same uncooperative types in almost every match. Feels the exact same just more restrictive in what I’m able to counter. I also have certain maps I prefer certain heroes on, and that choice is largely gone.
I honestly hate playing Sombra unless anyone else on my team playing DPS is proficient. It’s such a nightmare playing a hero like that if the only other dps on your team is a Mei.
Anyway, I don’t understand what you are saying but I agree with the message.
shrug at least instead of picking 2-3 heroes I could potentially need to swap to depending on circumstance, it will only be 1 now.
before RL ppl blamed their teammates all the time anyway. you kind of grow a thick skin and learn how to brush these people off and deal with it or you just mute them and mind ya business.

ppl would literally scream this at me through the mic while we were winning games LMAO. can’t take these people seriously and let them ruin your fun.
non of the people who are for 2-2-2 think its going to boost their rank or make it easier to climb. people who are against it keep saying they do for some reason though.

Interesting idea, but that hasn’t been my experience. I’m a Zen main but I usually wind up flexing on my main account - using support role queue I placed nearly 250 SR higher than my last season end.
On my DPS account, I placed a whopping 418 SR higher than my last season end.
Haven’t placed on my tank account yet.
Additionally, I usually wind up reporting someone roughly 1 out of every 3 games, from one side or the other (or both) for being toxic. In role queue I haven’t had to report a single person in roughly 30 games.
It’s almost like when people get to play what they want in a slightly more structured environment, the game is healthier and people are less angry.
You should give it a chance, you might like it. My wife and I sure do.

It will always baffle me why people take this game seriously lol. It was designed with casual and simplistic gameplay in mind, it was meant for light-hearted fun.

truely LMAO, one player telling me to always switch, calling me a thrower in the game we are winning, and i am switching, mei-ashe-torb-symmetra, showing up on killfeed with final blows - i had to ask him “do you want me to play bad on the characters you like?”
excuse me, but forums are filled with stuff along the lines of “i can’t rank up because of 3 dps” and people in game go bananas even if there are 3 tanks
that’s their definition of trolling, which is the reason, they think, they do not climb
Well there will definitely be player movement as i’m much lower overall in the new system
Role Q is just a nice feature to help players play what they want to play. I don’t like playing Orissa but it’s needed a lot currently. It’s not about getting a higher rank it’s about increasing enjoyment through a QOL update

In the 222 topics only the players that are against say the climb thing, the ones who are for 222 whant more fun matches, without multiple dps(common in lower ranks) mains or multiple supports(common in higher ranks) in their games

Once 222 hits the live servers the general rule for anyone posting how they use to flex to win games, flex to counter and make up for the team etc should be an open profile. Then we can see if they have a 50%+ over all win rate and if not a 3k+ SR at least showing a positive impact winning more game than they lose.
Something that shows that yes they really were the brass unicorn player (ya can’t be Gold Unicorn, that’s a rare player who just plays main tanks) who truly did flex and impact games for the better. I know some of them are out there.
but I suspect a whole lot of the claims of flexing to win, flexing to save, moving roles to impact etc are not going to be backed up by that player’s stats or win rate. Like if your win rate isn’t 50%+ then no, your “flex” wasn’t impacting most of the games you were doing it for even if it felt like it.
well, but original reason behind that is they blame those for losing lol

If anyone gets released from being stuck in low ranks itll be good supports
Supports will climb… common dps and tank will hover around their usual rank
On the contrary, the comp might be locked but as a result you have to trust your teammates to do their part in the role they picked.
But you will also be held more accountable (loss) if you (or they) fail to do so.
It all depends on dps queue times.
If they are to big you will see lots of players, playing healers and off tanks as dps.
You really think games will be more fun if you get 2 not healing healers in your team that only do dps, and 2 off tanks that are flanking all the time?
well they will go to the sr where that playstile belongs, if I think someone play poorly in my matches i avoid them…my server is not so populated so frequently I play against them later
