1 for your highest rank
1 for practice
1 for casual competitive play
Quick play rust your skills which is why you should avoid it at all cost.

I’m thinking of one for my mains and one for flex/last pick.
But I do like to carry in QP with McCree, something which will never happen in ranked
Casual competitive play
I dont think competitive needs any more alternate accounts. It’s already flooded with them.
This is what you actually need:
1)your main account
2)your one trick account for grinding a hero (in my case widowmaker)
3)your second one trick account (widowmaker #2 for when you’re suspended for gameplay sabotage for no reason but presumably for not switching and one tricking)
This is what you actually need to play this game because you’ll have to rotate accounts #2 and #3 if you actually want to learn a hero since you will be suspended
I do have three accounts.
1 for casual comp (mid plat)
2 that ended up both hitting higher ranks that I tryhard on and really only play to avoid decay (both mid/low diamond)
You’re low plat … If you honestly want to, it’s not too late to change
op is being secretly paid by blizz
People like the OP are the reason this game is going down the toilet. Justification after justification for the slovenly state of competitive, reporting a bad actor is hit or miss, depending on your status on the game, justifying a toxic play style of one-tricking despite the fact one-tricking makes you worse at the game instead of better… I mean, there is so much wrong with the current state of Overwatch, that it’s absolutely insulting that anyone who speaks up about it gets shut down.
This forum board is nothing but justifications, and I’m sick and tired of it.
Oh, and only a bad player makes the stupid assumption that Quickplay makes you terrible at the game, where you’re supposed to use the mode to make yourself the better player. Justify sponsoring that you’re throwing somewhere else.
I have one for pushing by filling
One for one tricking D.va and pushing with her
And one that I play during REALLY bad times (like mornings where my 4400 accounts would get mid master players vs a team of full 4100 players), which still stays at ~4.2k ish.
But you can get by with a single account just as well. I just chose to spend more money.
So, we should smurf, yeah?
I have no accounts below GM. Not really sure if you can call it smurfing.
In which case, that is fine because the idea of having an alternative account to play a character and roles which i don’t usually play i.e. Damage dealers, appeals to me to me as well.
Because i know that i would be trying hard to improve and not playing casually as what the TS mentioned in point 3.
Unless what he meant was to play casually in the sense that he does not get all worked up over a game and roles / characters which are totally not within his usual pool.
This could be actually one of the reasons why 2 out of 3 competitive games are actually total sh1t.
When I’ve got all 3 of these in just 2 accounts…
I have my main account which I play tank and healer on, my dps account which I play dps mostly on, but all I need is a third.
The third account will be a briggite one trick account called FunPolice
This is exactly why Comp is a mess.
Playing competitive casually when you should be taking it seriously.
I’ll report this account.
You guys do not understand what he meant by casual competitive.
A GM can perform “casually” in diamond, but what they consider casual is actually as good as players can be in diamond.
The pressure, skill and focus required to play at high GM is insane, playing casually actually means playing as well as other people in that lower rank.
Do not confuse casual with throwing, he’s not saying that.
