as a support, excluding lucio, the best way for me to deal with his ult is take advantage of height terrain with baptise or kiriko. I jump off the bridge, and if he follows, i can jump/climb back up while he’s stuck down there with out anyone to target with his AoE. If he stays up there, I’m 1 target who is not in his AoE and flank to shoot his back hoping the enemy dps don’t chase me. I can only pray on my team to run away and focus fire him.
On a map without height terrains, there’s not much you can do but require Lucio to speed boost you out, but good luck getting that to happen in Quickplay / Solo Rank in medal ranks.
If he’s using it at your spawn, yea, good luck, you likely lost the fight unless you have teammates that work together.
There was a streamer that had a clip where he just ulted with Ram against another Ram and it was a snore fest cause both just stood there blocking while getting pumped with heals and DPS just did the only real fighting.
Ram shouldn’t exist and is a perfect example of this game having too many heroes. Sigma already fills the long range shield poke hero role. Ram only exists because people cry for new content.
20 meters is enough to lock down an entire choke or objective. Do i just let Hog capture the point for free because i have to utilize cover to hide from him? Shields are a joke in OW2 and go down in seconds. There’s a reason why none of the shield tanks are meta right now. Hog can outright ignore most CC or gets cleansed by Kiriko so that’s a no go either.
It has a 6(?) second cd. Who cares if you catch him on said cd if you’ll never kill him that fast?
Ult’s should have defined timelines. Think how bad his ult design is for the game if you apply it to other ults. Do you want a Moira ult that ends “when the fight is over”? +3s for every death or save.
Nah, lower the life steal amount and leave it alone, if he’s changed the way you’re intending he should get a massive damage reduction or a greater health increase
You think it’s balanced that an ulimate can often last 30+ seconds with a massive radius?
I don’t quite understand your ideas. If the duration-pause feature of his ult is removed, why would he then need a “massive damage reduction”? And why would he need “a greater health increase” when he already gets 225 armor in Nemesis form and has a no-cooldown 75% damage reduction block?
My brother in Christ, if players had the sense to just walk through shields and fight effectively, then we wouldn’t need 5v5 - we would still be blissfully playing OW1 right now.
