One tricking is selfish and ruins the experiance for others. Its ok if you mainly only play one role but please at least play one other hero in that catagory in case you get countered or the hero thats your main is really situational. For example, I was in a 5 stack with my friends and we were on eichenwalde. Our rando decides to go sym on attack and doesnt join team chat. Ok, not the best pick but we’ll give them a chance and try to work with them. They use a tp strat and get us the first point. So far so good. The enemy team decides to go pharah for the rest of the game and our rando never switches and essentially feeds. Yes we still won because the 5 of us tryed our best to win and we had really good ult combos and coordination in general. However, it was a very close/difficult win to achieve as we essentially played a 5v6 for most of the game because the sym was countered and kept dying. I dont care what hero you play as long as 1. Youre good at said hero 2. You realize when youre being hard countered and need to switch. And 3. It fits the team comp
People who one trick make ladder less than optimal to play in and ruin the experiance for thier teamates.
People can play who they want and that isn’t going to change
If a teammate is being countered by more than 1 enemy that’s 1 less enemy that can be countering you, granted you swap to those heroes counters.
I understand that but it makes the game A lot harder to win for the other 5 teamates, especially if theyre underperforming

He is but it doesnt make him not detrimental to his teamates. The only way onetricking is acceptable is if youre in a 6 stack and your friends know youre a one trick.
Just avoid them. You don’t have enough avoids? Well, help us campaign to get more.
We all want more, including one-tricks.
Ive already asked for more avoids. Cause 3 is not enough with the amount of onetricks and kids who suck
Sure, you might not find a rule which says that onetricking is bannable BUT
Just try to see that from an healthy humanely point of view:

(under the premise that you keep playing into counter while feeding and not contributing anything)
I don’t mind onetricks since they are usually good at what they play which is almost better than 80% of the people i play with but that doesn’t change the fact that Player (not only onetricks) who refuse to swap even while being hard countered are not getting punished enough.
So i don’t really see a problem only with “onetricks” but with the mentality of some player. See where I’m going here ?
Blizzard should just set official rules for this particular scenario…

If I was as much of a detriment as you make me out to be I would be falling in SR with alot less than a 51% Winrate while in middiamond.
Our main tank left and we were on a winstreak so we wanted to continue going. And since i can also play main tank, we didnt see it as a big problem
nopt gonna happen becuz this isnt an actually competitive mode, this is qp+. an frankly Bliz endorses selfishness like one tricks for years now an thats nvr changing, just gonna have to deal man.

I’d rather have a team full of one tricks than a teammate micromanaging everyone else’s picks.
So, what about a Rein or a Zenyatta One trick ?
I love the fact it’s always sym/torb/bastion/widow/hanzo one tricks who are shown as examples.
Rein one tricks are just as annoying when you come up on Numbani or other very high ground oriented points and they just keep getting farmed by high ground DPS and Zen one tricks are just as annoying when the enemy has tracer/doom/etc picking the zen EVERY fight putting you in a 5v6. Ana one tricks are annoying when the enemy runs dva/Winston and completely cuts your team off from getting healed.
One tricks of every type are annoying. When they get countered you just straight up lose and it’s a feelsbad way to lose.
