Make Mercy 150hp

Give her back her mobility.
And in exchange, make her actually fragile. I think it’d be fair.
She has the most powerful ability in the game, she should be fragile. That’s crazy they changed her passive to make her more tanky when a good usage of her mobility should be enough to keep her alive.

Wouldnt that mean sombra can kill her without any counterplay? Hack, virus, 5 bullets?

It’s not nearly as good at it was currently. So she is absolutely fine at 200 health. 150 health Mercy sounds like a nightmare to play even with her old mobility back.
Mercy is one of the worst Supports in the game.

175 and revert every nerf she’s had since season 2- and you have a deal.

As long as we’re also reverting her brain dead mobility she got in OW2 you’ve got yourself a deal.

Mercy will never have 150 HP because it’s a horrible idea. It really is not even worth discussing

It would be high risk, high reward. No more spamming Super Jump because no one can aim at you.
It would also open the door to buff other parts of her kit. She’s currently very unhealthy for the game. She’s too easy to play, she gets way too much value.

Are we saying that resurrecting 1 person is more powerful than killing 5 people?

make mercy haters unable to get or use any keyboards

Give me back MR and I’ll think about it.

Honestly I’m starting to think this is the only solution, they have literally nerfed EVERY SINGLE thing about mercy, people are still whining about her and she isn’t even good. Mercy haters will never be happy until she is deleted from the game, Blizzard needs to realize this and just ignore them instead of giving her undeserved buffs to try and appease them.

People need to realize that the currently Mercy is weak AF and they are suffering from a case of “skill issue”. Its like complaining that Sym is OP AF, even tho she might be the worst DPS currently.

Honestly I think Blizzard did it to themselves. Before SJ was a niche thing that was hard to preform, so low rank players generally didn’t have to deal with it, it wasn’t until higher ranks where Mercy’s could reliably make use of it. For some reason they made it SUPER easy to use instead of leaving it as mercy’s skill expression. Now low ranks can’t shoot her so they complain, and high ranks think she’s awful, because she is if you can aim.

Sounds like a you problem. Good Mercy players generally don’t use SJ because of how easy it makes her to hit.

Wont make any difference because they are bad anyway

No, not more mobility, they could try just giving her 150 HP and see if it changes anything. If not, they should nerf GA instead. She does not need more mobility under any circumstances.

Dodge the virus then, it’s simple.

I agree.

Make Ana 125hp :smirk:.

Just aim better, it’s simple

Comparing hitting virus as Sombra, who has to get into a dangerous position and only (the new) Translocator to get out with hitting Mercy who can erratically fly around every few seconds into every single direction while healing herself by pocketing the DPS that is shooting at you with high damage.
Yeah, good comparison.

Mercy needs movement nerfs, even the best hitscan top500 players have issues hitting her reliably while all she does is pressing a button.

Revert her passive to the old ow1 passive.

I don’t think they were thinking when they gave her self sustain to “change her to be more interesting” for the sake of changing her.

I agree it’s a skill issue hitting mercy while she’s using GA- BUT you cannot deny that her in battle healing makes it sizably more difficult to kill her, and also gives her pocket more time to kill y’all first.

Her passive change was a huge buff to her sustainability even if the number seems small and prolonged her TTK which has multiple problems associated with that.

And worse- her old passive incentivized her to find cover for brief time to quickly self heal. If she took damage it stopped. So targeting mercy paid off for dps, and getting to cover paid off for mercy.

Now she might as well just always be latched onto someone to proc her passive and it creates a gameplay loop that can afford to be a lot more reckless- which considering mercy’s ease of use is not even fairly warranted.

I say before anything else we revert her passive completely…

And if anyone says the new one has more skill expression, I harshly disagree- it’s far more difficult to escape fire and find ways to keep supporting from cover than it is to just latch to ANYTHING that’s been damaged to proc sympathetic recovery.
