true, also make same for hog and ball, they both are dps as well but just fat, and fatness is not a right to consider your role as tank.

thats because yellow is the healing aura 
but it really depends on the player imo. reddit lucios are common, but not every lucio is one. though its easy to get carried away with him honestly…
my only advice would be: if you have a lucio, look if your hero is actually compatible with him. like, if youre pharah or something that might be a good moment to consider a different hero. lucio is a great healer/support for the right kinds of teams.

I agree, if it were up to me only shielding heroes would be allowed to queue as tanks.
Roadhog is as much a tank as reaper is a healer.

Hog has an entire circle around him that’s an insta-death zone for a majority of the cast (assuming Hog can lead his hooks I suppose but you can’t reclass him based on bad aim). That is space making.
Ball is the king of disruptions, creating so much backline chaos for the enemies they can’t afford to focus the frontlines while he lives. That is space making.
I’d rather have a wide variety of tanks to choose from instead of just 5 that have the exact same playstyle of ‘shield and absorb all CC and die’

Pretty sure OP means that Lucio forgets he has a healing ability, and just skates around walls looking for boops.
I come across this more often than I can count, leaving me to solo heal the entire team.
Idk, in my games Lucio usually heal fairly well.
But I do blame it a lot on lack of aggression players seem to have in lower ranks…
Lucio is a dive support using mobility to quickly get to point. If you’re gonna stay in one side and attack from there despite enemies being a bit further of course he’s not gonna be any help…
A lot of times some Lucios’ just run away but I guess it’s like running Bastion with Winston. You can’t really expect the omnic to run along.

Sorry you got in a game with a feeder Lucio, I assure you that most of us aren’t like this.
Just remember that Lucio is primarily about speed. Healing is secondary. Doesn’t mean I won’t heal you though, just stand in the yellow circle.

Thing is in lower brackets people tend to stay in open get shot and yell at healers they are useless.

Funny thing about Lucio: switch to the yellow aura and you will find out, that he is pretty decent healer.
On the other side, when I heal and I am paired with Zen, THAT feels like I am healing alone…
