Hitting shots with Kiriko is incredibly difficult even with good aim.
BUFF her projectile speed or make her a Hitscan please.
It’s incredibly hard to get value from her when it’s so easy to avoid her shots. Why can Illari be hitscan and Moira have auto aim but Kiri can’t shoot faster?
If we’re comparing the two, Illari sacrifices basically all utility to have a hitscan weapon. She has poor mobility, her ult doesn’t heal her team, and it can be totally negated by… Kiriko, who can teleport, cleanse debuffs and provide temporary immortality, heal at practically any range, and buff allied movement speed, cooldowns, fire rate, etc.
Illari’s damage is also a lot worse now that she can’t two-shot whereas Kiriko brings enough utility that her lowered damage potential isn’t as important. If anyone needs a buff in this scenario, it’s Illari, not Kiriko.
First, Illari does less headshot dps than Kiriko while also having damage dropoff. Second, Moira can’t headshot at all and does 60 dps, something a Soldier player can do if they have like a 40% bodyshot accuracy. Third, you need to consider the entire kit of a character before calling out one thing about them as suspect.
Those are abilities all on separate heroes, not compiled into one.
This isn’t true. In certain situations it’s better. In certain situations it’s worse.
I do agree Bap is a bit overtuned. I never liked lamp (or suzu/grip for that matter). Theres no skill to the value they provide. No aim requirements. But tbh in 5 v 5 my biggest gripe with bap is his Window. Specifically the fact there is no wind-up time. It’s just an instant window that can pop a tank dead in microseconds. Meanwhile ults like Beat have Lucio jump in the air first. Transcendance requires Zen to travel to the teammate, Kitsune has a travel time with the fox, Illari’s has a travel time and can easily be mitigated etc… I think Window needs a 1.5-2 second opening time before it’s usable.
This is highly debatable. Both are very powerful ults. The fact that Kitsune reduces cooldown and increases ROF of all 5 teammates in it is why it can be debated to be stronger than nano. It depends on the team comp really. But team DPS in kitsune is greater than team dps with one guy nano’d.
Kiriko has very high damage output. Her damage isn’t much weaker than Zen’s (without discord).
Zen damage: 48
Kiriko: 45
Both have projectile speed of 90m/s. Meanwhile Zen has no movement ability. He has discord, Kiriko has teleport and suzu. However Zen has 2x critical multiplier while Kiriko has 2.5x.
Kiriko’s kit is pretty bloated. She is extremely powerful when in the right hands. Her thing is that in the average hands she is feast/famine. That is what makes her unique for a support imo.
She does have a slightly longer time to throw her kunai out than zen does to shoot his orbs out. Meaning time from clicking to bullet leaving hand. Similar to how Genji has that lag in his left click when throwing shurikens. But with her bloated kit, this is balanced.
In no world should her projectile speed be buffed. And IMO in no world should that lag between clicking and throwing kunai get buffed either.
It’s not very hard to hit when you’re close, the projectiles go really fast. I don’t think kiriko should be designed to stay far behind, rather going in trying to assassinate then leave, and in this case, it’s very reliable to hit with the kunai
