I hate getting killed by a Junk spamming pipes at some random angle and he gets luck and hits me. I don’t understand why so many characters in this game get rewarded for not aiming. A change I would like to see is to make Junk more like Demo from Team Fortress Two. So increase the speed of his pipes so they are easier to direct people with. Then take away the direct bounces. Once the pipe hits the floor it will start a timer before it explodes, it will only explode on a direct hit or when the bomb has reached its timer. This would raise the skill floor of the character. He will still be able to control chokes but with out the bull of not having to aim.
You’re basically asking for a projectile speed increase. Wouldn’t that just create more spam in an area? Right now, Junkrat can have 3 active bombs in an area, but the increased speed would increase that limit to 5 (since they can travel there faster).
I know the latest patch decreased the hitbox on his grenades (you can argue if the area is too big or too small, but it’s already happened).
The bombs already have a timer that starts counting down when they are fired, not when they hit the floor/surface. I can see an argument for reducing the time the bombs are active and having them explode sooner, but I don’t see a point in delaying the detonation until the first time they contact the floor/wall. that just lets Junkrat arc 10 bombs into an area for even more spam.
Otherwise, most Junkrats I’ve seen do have to aim their shots. The lucky shots they do get are frequently because of bad enemy positioning and not so much about junkrat going W+M1 and accidentally bumping into a Tracer to kill her at point blank.
Because this is a unique game unlike cod, if you want that, then don’t play ow

If I wanted to play as demoman I’d play tf2.
mechanical skill is aim im not talking about game sense im talking about mechanical skill. If it auto aims it doesnt take any mechnical skill if you dont have to aim it to get the full damage it takes little mechanical skill
What you should be asking for as well is that bounced grenades deal around 30-40% of the direct hit damage. Like in TF2. Otherwise that is just a plain buff.
I would welcome a change that made bounced grenades deal far less damage than direct hits with an added projectile speed boost.
If a Junkrat is randomly spamming, then he’s that much easier to avoid.
that would be nice but in tf2 once the pipe hits the ground it will not impact a player. it is on a timer. And i don’t think the bounces are a good game mechanic. I do like the reduced damage idea tho
