What´s the big deal? Still better, than other stuff people are spamming there…I personaly don´t see it so often and I found some really cool streamers thanks to that… :woman_shrugging:

Personally I think that’s good promotion: unobtrusive and it’s nice to know if you’re being streamed or not even if they aren’t required to tell you.

My mercy literally plugged her onlyfans in match chat at the end of the game last week, I laughed all the way through my 20 minute dps queue thinking about it.

eh I don’t mind, some times there are cool people but when they are toxic and rude then drop it it rubs me the wrong way.

I unno. If the streamer was a good fella, sometimes i like to drop by their chat to say hi and thanks for the game if i got time.

I’d prefer it as is- reportable at our own discretion. Like, let’s not nuke the chill ones unnecessarily, even if it is like, 2%

You could call that spam.

Plugging your stream in-game is just good advertisement. No, most people won’t tune-in but the off-chance they do is a small boost to your channel.

I’m all for it as long as it’s not spammed. Once at the beginning and end of a match is plenty.

This is actually so true im not sure even you understand how deep you just went, i.e:

  • “[INSERT ROLE HERE] DIFF”
  • “PEEL!!!” (i personally saved you hide multiple times, not my problem if you manage to miss sleep dart and nade on both yourself and the fattest tank in the game hunnie)
  • "This team is so [EXPLETIVE] " without actually understanding what the problems were (because you were the problem and refuse to exercise introspection)
  • HEAL IS SO [ TERM FOR HUMAN WASTE] !!!" because my positioning is terrible, i expect to get healed through walls and enemy barriers and I’m a genji one-trick that sucks at genji (that one is literally me but at least im self aware).
  • “[EXPLETIVE] SMURFS!!!” when they’re literally just playing as a team and you’re bad and refuse to join VC (the ultimate smurf counter)

its not like most people spam their link. itd so easy to ignore and they usually paste it in at tge end of the match. youre trying to make a big deal out of nothing

Actually, before they implement it, Dota 2 Streamers used to be constantly stream snipe since the players can just watch the stream and act accordingly.

Twitch and Valve added delays to the streams to protect players from getting sniped. But Blizzard has not.
