So people actually can avoid his attacks. Projectile is hard to avoid, most of times he just get lucky or spamming. With hitscan will be better~!

That’s the point of Hanzo. He isnt really meant to do the crazy flickshots up close in a 1v1. Spamming down chokes is just playing the percentages, and is smart. If he were hitscan then he would be a better widow. Also he slows down when he draws his arrow back, so its hard for him to dodge too without his jump thing.

But because a projectile has a travel time, it can physically “threaten” the path it travels for a longer time.

He needs rework and he is sniper ofc hitscan is better and more balanced …

I can avoid Widow, Ashe and Mcree shots but Hanzo is disaster if you stand you are dead if you accidentaly move in the direction he shots again you are dead. So basicly you need luck to survive nothing to do with skill…

But if hanzo’s arrows were to be made hitscan, there would be no hope of avoiding it. At least not after or while it’s being fired.

One would instead have to guess where the player will shoot and move before he does.

Just trying to understand OP here.

The point is to avoid them before he shoots . With projectiles you need to avoid after he shoots its hard and based on luck. I dont know hwo people can defend this broken hero…

I think the joke/comment is that Hanzo’s arrows are already basically hitscan and that this will at least make their hitboxes smaller.

In that case then I would say the Hanzo is good if he is predicting where you will move to dodge. Nothing to be angry or annoyed about, its just losing a 1v1 against a skilled Hanzo. Yeah, you would need to be lucky to have him miss, meaning be lucky for him to be bad.

But he can spamm arrows no need to be good Hanzo. You are just spamming arrows in all directions and get kills.

The idea is that you can physically walk into a projectile after it’s been released

You can’t walk into a hitscan after it’s been shot.
