Why does doomfist’s block (E) only block 80% of damage. Every other tank with a block/shield blocks 100% damage. Why doesn’t doomfist. He’s vulnerable from the sides and back, he doesnt’ need to be vulnerable from the front too. Please make this change to block 100% of damage like all the other tanks. Doom isn’t just blocking for himself like a dps he is blocking for the team also.
I don’t think this game needs any more doom buffs right now…

Doom is probably one of if not the strongest tank right now…
If you want him to get nerfed elsewhere, we can talk about buffing his block.

I think if you want it to work like that maybe make it block 100% until he is charged up? (block charge his rp right?)
Like its getting overheated and he need to discharge it before blocking all dmg again?
The only reason people shoot Doomfist and charge the gauntlet is because there is damage and the potential of killing him.
100% completely removes any incentive.
It simply would not work if empowered punch is a thing.

Doom has always been good. I don’t even think his buffs are that great. The stigma attached to him that caused your supports to support you less than they would a different tank, to me, is what made him weak.

They just need to have him immune from CC during Powerblock. Ana is in every match just like she was in OW1, so all they do is just sit and wait to sleep dart you.
Good point, but maybe 90% then? Maybe my team isn’t pumping me with heals during the block like they should. All I can say is when “I” press E it usually results in instant death. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Or don’t make the block charge at all. I’d rather have 100% block than a slight bonus to a fully charged punch.
I’m pretty sure doom got enough buffs this patch…
Maybe let’s make positive changes to the role with the fewest number of players queueing. Oh wait. That’s never going to happen.

By right now do you mean the one day with seasons 2’s buffs? Last season he was considered the worst tank. Citing people like KarQ. I’d agree. But we’ll see about this season, maybe the buffs will make him the best. Time will tell. I’m just disappointed about the block. I think that ability is what made him the worst tank last season. And there was no change to the blocking part of it.
Godfist is already the king of this season. No.

If he is cc immune, he will be unkillable.
I can’t even fathom how someone can think that can be balanced.
The most mobile hero in the game having cc immunity.

No, it’s true. It might not be applicable to your gameplay. But that doesn’t mean it’s not true.
Ana feels like she is in every match because she’s one of two supports that can do anything about Doomfist harassing the backline all game.
Of course supports are gonna try defend themselves. What did you expect them to do?
I thought about it, if Doom were to block 100% of incoming damage with his block, the enemies would then have 0 reason to shoot you, they won’t just give you a free empowered punch for nothig in return…

Someone else made that comment at first i thought it was a good point. BUT. Zarya’s bubble blocks 100% damage and people still shoot it giving her charge. Sigma’s suck blocks 100% of damage and it give him shields. So my question remains. Why does doom not block 100% when others do? If he is too power (and he probably is) nerf something else. I’d give up other strengths to be able to block 100% of damage.
To properly bait them to shoot when you’re low HP. Then surprise turn around the situation!
