Make custom game great again (about Community Create)

In the recent Overwatch update, Blizzard reintroduced the “Community Create” mode. This mode allows community creators to propose skill modifications, even bringing back classic abilities that some heroes haven’t had access to since the launch of Overwatch 2. Examples include Hanzo’s “Scatter Arrow”, Bastion’s self-repair, Torbjörn’s upgraded turret, and Orisa’s "Halt!”.

This change suggests that Blizzard hasn’t truly “deleted” these abilities.

Given this, why can’t we allow players to choose these abilities in custom games? I propose adding options in custom games that allow players to freely select which version of a hero’s abilities they want to use.

For instance, players could use a menu option to decide whether Orisa’s ultimate ability is Terra Surge or Supercharger. If this implementation is too complex, it could be simplified to a choice between using the Overwatch 1 or Overwatch 2 version of Orisa.

But I understand that players of custom games may represent only a small portion of the entire player base. And this suggestion may not bring additional revenue to the game.

However, I believe it would make the game more fun and engaging. Sometimes, changes are worth making simply for the sake of fun.

We hope Blizzard will consider this suggestion to make the custom game experience even more diverse and exciting.

EXACTLYYYY!!! I wish I could play old dps doom again :,)

what, what the hell is that crap? when this was announced or even added?

gues what? you will find this funny, one of the thousands of broken promises of developers is that the workshop you will be able to chose any ability and any patch from older overwatch updates, and of course the a new workshop 2.0, this was promised years ago

You can find information about Community Creation here: Getting Creative with the Community Crafted Mode

Oh, and if that’s true that clearly proves that Blizzard doesn’t care what they say.

I understand that the people who made the promise in the first place have probably left Blizzard by now, and are now focused on making color changes to skins and then making money (or at least that’s what it seems like).
