Make Brig overpowered

It’s heinous to suggest, I know.

… but isn’t it exactly what the game needs right now?

Support players feel like they can’t survive and they’re constantly being harassed. Brig EXISTS to aliviate pressure from supports due to her ability to peel for herself and her duo. Making Brig a viable, POWERFUL pick would give players an option for when they’re being harassed. It’s EXACTLY what we need right now.

Make rally give armor again. They won’t though, they’ll give her some terrible New Ult that players can ignore.

Ptr brig lets go!

Trust me, the new ultimate is promising. :crown:

:x: to doubt

member when rally was bugged so each armor tick counted as a separate “layer” of armor and you had something like -40% damage taken while it was actively refreshing your armor?

Ive said this since OW2 launched

The game would be healthier with launch Brig (just toned down some numbers)

  • Flanker and Divewatch can’t freely dive backlines anymore nonstop

  • There’s finally a semi-co-tank to help out front line sometimes

  • Support role is actually attractive and has power and play-making potential besides an emergency button (trance/beat) or the solitary hard CC (sleep)

She wouldn’t be an option so much as a requirement, since the OP hero on the other team would need to be mirrored every match to have a chance at beating it. This kind of thing isn’t fun. Just ask tank mains.

I think Supports need better selfpeels, not better teammate peels.

Support heroes should be as self sufficient as DPS/Tank heroes. Otherwise the Support Role won’t be anywhere near popular enough.

Nobody needs anyone to be overpowered. Personally i would like it if they just made everyone balanced so I didn’t have to play the same 4 heroes/see the same 4 heroes every game.

Giving Brig her stun back would help protect supports and not still wouldn’t make her OP. Still doesn’t change the fact she isn’t a good pairing with Zen, who is probably in most need of her protecting.

I think ‘overpowered’ isn’t the right word or what anyone actually wants
But I do see where you’re coming from

No, I hate this.

DPS and Tanks aren’t self sufficient. FAR FAR FAR from it.

Tanks and supports both have two players they can rely on to help them and save them: Their supports. To a lesser extend they also have their tank, but really it’s mostly their supports.

Supports, however, only have ONE person they can rely on, their duo’d support, and that person also may not be able to help them because they have to help their allies. Supports have less help than the other roles because they’re always occupied keeping other people alive.

In OW1, supports had two people to rely on because the offtank would usually play to peel for them. This meant that everyone had atleast 2 people to rely on. In OW2, it’s just not the same.

And the funniest part is that supports have probably the consistent lowest deaths in a game.

Literally every game I play (masters+) the supports are always dying the least.

Watch a high elo game if need be, supports are usually dying the least.

What is this forum narrative that supports are just fodder when that is blatantly false?

Inability to identify safe spots, lack of mechanical skill to duel/outrun someone who catches them, not calling for help/people ignoring their calls for help while they’re being dived, etc.

Like, in high ranks being support is unfun because impact for the heroes they’d like to play isn’t as strong as better (kiriko, lucio, mercy depending on ranks) supports. Lower ranks it tends to be that you have to work on your own a whole lot more to stay alive on your own because you’re basically an island and with lower skill expression the gap between, say, even a Diamond Ana and a Gold Ana is huge when they’re being focused by the enemy, and the enemy tends to have higher damage at base than they would.

Zen and Brig are good together

Its just a matter of weather you can keep Zen alive as Brig.

Zen brig was meta in OW1 for high tier of play and tbh Zen shouldn’t really be played outside of high tiers anyway because he isnt a low skill hero.

Lucio is the hero you are looking for it just takes more skill than holding m1 and occasionally bashing on brig.

For all of Big 1.0’s OPness, she had major weakness. She hard countered dive and flankers, but in turn is hard countered by long range DPS with the damage to break her shield and reduce her to an armour pack dispenser.

Give Brig 1.0 a buff to health/armor and she might work well as OW2 tank.

I would like to play tank brig again. 250 hp 400 shield hp and the Glorious anti nuke bash that stops anything and everything in its path.

Or we can go play something easier and not rely on ez free value no skill stuns you don’t have to aim. Crazy concept

If Brigitte became overpowered again then most of the playerbase would quit like we did in 2018
