Make Anran Skill Based

Please make Anran a skill based fire bender.

There are just way too many aim bots and low skill level heroes in the game already. Stadium is even worse where it only has one skill based hero per role. Some of us don’t want aim bot abilities/ults, massive AoEs or just hold down prime fire and follow the target’s movements. That’s all so boring. We need more heroes and abilities like Gracie, Hanzo, Freja (Not her ult, even though it’s WEAK), Kiri, etc, etc. That actually have to use skill, precision and predict where an enemy MIGHT be by the time the projectile gets there.

Even just having to click on the enemy like Widow and Cas is still just boring. Definitely takes more skill than trackers like 76, Zarya, Mei, Sym etc, etc, but still just blah.

whoch aimbot heros are in the game besides mercy, torb and weaver?

Symmetra has turrets too. And Soldier has a literal aimbot ult.

Fire bender will very probably be a DPS.
DPS heroes are historically aim-based. Even Torb has a demanding primary fire.

wow stationary turrets and an ult thats not even good

is gracie the knife?

he still shoots logs

she is broken???

as a support main, kiris projectiles are too big to be considered skill based.

so in short, what you want is a projectile based hero, not a skill based hero.

you think flicking requires more skill than tracking?
im sorry dude but your opinion is kinda worthless after saying that.

This has to be bait. No one genuinely thinks Hanzo has a fair projectile, right? Like he’s only a functioning hero because he has arrows the size of a Honda Civic.

no one exept hanzo players

There’s a real need for dps that have a low aim requirement. My old thumbs can only handle some tanks and supps. There’s nothing for me on dps :smiling_face_with_tear: Sym is the closest, but she’s way too map dependent.

I feel like they don’t even believe it, lol.

who knows that really

Sure, I don’t see the harm in…

…you know what, let’s not make Anran a skill-based fire bender.

Please Blizz give her the TF2 Dragon’s Fury

Assuming she’s a Tank hero, she will not be that difficult to play compared to Damage-role heroes. And probably won’t have a heavy skilled-based aim.

Gracie’s size pretty large; and about half the size of Wuyang’s projectiles.

Hanzo has one of the smallest projectiles in the game, and Freja’s is tied with Genji as the second smallest projectile in the game.

Additionally, because of the way Freja works, she’s pretty hamstrung and limited since she cannot kill even with a headshot and has to use cooldowns to effectuate her lethality.

Kiriko’s projectiles are still larger, about the same size as Gracie, in fact, and almost twice as fast.

Fire doesn’t really work that way. It tends to be explosive, sweeping, and large. In FPSes, you tend to have flame throwers, which act more like Mei’s primary than balls of fire like you see in Dungeons and Dragons.

Given that Anran is seen wielding fans, it’s likely that her “fire-bending”, is going to be based more on sweeping fire-based sprays than individual projectiles.

But we’ll see.

Still the smallest projectile in the game.

And with that, a ranking of the largest to smallest projectiles from the above mentioned heroes.

Gracie at .27, Kiriko at .225, Freja at .175, Hanzo at .125

There’s a real need to actually establish a baseline between all Roles, and stop making other Roles easier or harder just because of popularity.
