Since the last update my ping increased from 100-120 to above 230. It happened to me after the Baptiste release update but the next update fixed it and now it’s happening again, I tried waiting one week to see if it fixed itself and I repaired the game but to no result. Every other game I’ve played run perfectly fine as usual except Overwatch, my internet is at the same speed as usual too. Can someone please tell me what might have happened?
In order to determine why your latency is higher than usual you may want to run a WinMTR for at least 10 minutes and share the results of the test in this thread.

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider~~~~I could be wrong but it seems your connection is routing you to Overwatch in the Netherlands all the way from Mauritius instead of routing you on to Overwatch in Singapore which seems closest. What region did you select to play on? Is it Europe or Asia or maybe even the Oceanic region?
I selected America from America, Europe and Asia and it usually automatically connects me to Singaporean servers. When I played with my friends(from Singapore, etc), their pings were as normal when mine went above 250.

That is odd since your WinMTR seems to show you are playing on the servers in Europe instead of Singapore which at least one reason why your latency would be high. Odd why a friend from Singapore would have a normal latency but one has to wonder since if he is also routed through Hong Kong his latency to Europe should be lower than yours.
Say if you play a QP game right now, what does the netgraph (ctrl+shift+n) show as the server you are playing on? It should show 3 letters and a number and an IP address. If I am not mistaken it should show PSE1 for Singapore.
I just played a game with my friend from Malaysia and the server was pse1, I got >255 ping while my friend got his usual ping (around 50). When I went to test if there is any difference in the server in the Practice Range, the server was syd2 and I got around 237-245 ping.
Could you run another test to the IP address of a pse1 server once you happen to play a game on one and share the results?

Yes I checked maybe 3 times before starting the test.
It still can’t be the right IP. That IP has got to be an AMS1 server. Sydney is PSE2.

Your issue seems similar to the following:
That particular person is also being routed to the Netherlands for some reason even though he is from Australia. So I am starting to wonder if the issues in Australia aren’t more wide spread to other parts around Australia. Checked the rest of the thread and it seems there are more than a few who are being routed to the same 37… IP address and thus having severe latency issues.
Unfortunately there seems to be no fix as of yet for the increased latency.
