ok so i found out the problem with the high ping on ME servers because i’m form ME and i was getting 130-140 ping on ME while on EU i was getting 85-90 ( i don’t know how that’s even possible ) i used a program called WTfast it looked like a classic scam program but it lower my ping on ME by making the pathing to the server better the program is not a fix because you have to pay for it now i need help to make the pathing to the server better i just don’t know how to do that some of my friends are getting this problem and some don’t if anyone knows how to get the pathing without using this program it would be a big help if you replay for more info look at my post High ping on middle east servers but im form middle east?

WTFast is basically a VPN but more for gaming instead of business or privacy concerns. They use their own routing tables instead of the ones your internet service provider normally uses. If those are working to resolve the issue, it means routing changes made by the ISP are the root cause of the issue.
The ultimate solution would be for the Internet Service Provider to update their routing tables. Though keep in mind this can be a lengthy process for them to do. Especially under current circumstances related to the pandemic.
In any case it never hurts to ask them to escalate the issue internally. Be sure that, when speaking with them, you let them know that the VPN (wtfast) service resolved the issue.

its really weird that my friend has the same ISP but his routing is fine and mine isn’t btw i have some friends that have the issue in the same city that my friend who dose not have the issue in so its kinda weird FYI ( they both have the same ISP)

what a wired situation we have here DUDE… Its helariuos and sad!
It is actually really pissing me off, I worked this season really hard on my SR. And the next thing that happens is that Blizzard decided to connect me to the Middle East with 200ms ping, LIKE WE HAVE NO SERVERS IN The Netherlands, France, UK, Germany.
I lost so much because of lag and high ping spikes, but yet they are waiting on people to get tilted or something to come with a fix. EU Costumer Support is not responding.
I can’t ask for a refund for the SR I lost because of their fault. So I guess I have to deal with it.

I’m currently in Afghanistan and when i play my ping would be around 130-170. Is there way to lower my ping here? Any gaming booster yall recommend?

Thank you for your reports! I’ve changed the thread to get more traction here. We’ve informed our team of the high latency issues on MES, so hopefully we’ll have more information or an update on the high latency issues soon.
In the mean time, if our team requests or ask for this information, let’s get ahead of the game and gather a WinMTR file until the problem occurs for 10 to 15 minutes. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:

DUDE your ping from Afghanistan is the same from Iran (that is more closer to EU) that is too good

Hey, all! Appreciate the information you’ve all provided so far. Today’s patch should help alleviate the issues. Some Middle East servers weren’t active for some folks and our team should have patched this up
If you’re still experiencing high latency issues, please restart the game after todays patch and double check that it is up to date. Next to the play button, please check the version. It should be on Version 1.47.1.0.68126
Let us know if the latency is still high after the latest patch. Please include the server names such as AMS1 using the Network Graph to check (CTRL+SHIFT+N) and the WinMTR test requested above.

so after this patch, i made custom with Bahrain server and latency is like before…
but something strange happened! in the second try the server name changed (i am sure i DID put it on Bahrain) , and the latency went from 230 to 150-160! then i restarted the custom match and server ips and names and latency went like before (230 PING AND …)
The server name was always [mesl] (if the server name is the words on the left)

(I remember something to say that our Minister of Information and Communications Technology mr Azari said in 2 days ago that the fiber connection to uae and south arab countries is cut off and it has not yet fixed, maybe that 160 latency ping is the real one and its high cuz of this … but my first post was for 7 days ago! and 160 latency is soo high for a close server!)

I’m from Iran . i get 270ms when connecting to ME servers compared to better 150 that EU servers provide. unfortunately the last update didn’t help either (april 21st).
in other games like fortnite we get 60 ms connecting to ME servers.
im in console so im not sure there is a way to send WinMTR test.

We appreciate the requested tests. If you are in the middle east, please keep them coming using these steps
However, I noticed that some of you were posting about unrelated issues on this thread. Please be advised that the problems we are looking into for Middle Eastern players are not the same as those affecting people in Europe. Please post in another thread if you are having that problem, as we cannot investigate multiple large scale issues in one thread. I’ve deleted several off topic posts from this thread to try to keep this focused on Middle Eastern players.
