Who do you think is best Mercy’s counter?

Tracer is very good against her because she can force her to defend the other Support. Sombra can outright kill her. Any high damage dealer can chew through her low healing.

Honestly mercy is the soldier 76 of supports. In that in the same vein that soldier 76 doesn’t really have any strong weaknesses or strengths, she too doesn’t really have any either.
Which is kind of funny honestly, people claim that she is super meta, or that she is a much pick, but if you look at the actual stats she is generally at BEST 3rd or 4th in a meta that favors her.
Her biggest strength, survivability, she still isn’t best though.
Her biggest weakness being what she actually does in a fight. She rarely tips the scale of balance in a fight in a large enough manner that she single handedly made a difference. But if she can survive long enough this is where she shines, doesn’t matter if you’re a great support if you’re a dead support. The best support is one that is still alive.
Honestly that’s why I think kiriko is so good, she has the best survivability, and what the other supports in the game have, a way to change the course of a battle in your teams favor single handedly.
IF they nerfed kiriko’s survivability than maybe mercy could be the support that doesn’t die and that could be her niche, but right now, she’s decisively meh.

Bad Teammates.
If we’re talking strictly on the enemy team… funnily enough the answer was Moira. At the level I was at, most DPS didn’t have the accuracy to kill me. Moira did because well… Moira. Her weapons are tailor made to kill high mobility targets. Which is exactly what Mercy is.

I don’t think Mercy has a hard counter.
Sometimes it’s Moira, surprisingly.
Which is a reason why I get annoyed at high mobility heroes whining about her, her damage isn’t good, if you approach her correctly, or pick a hero that’s strength’s isn’t their mobility, she is incredibly meh.
Especially back in the day when my main DPS in OW1 was bastion. I literally just laughed at moira’s and killed them without any effort. He isn’t invincible anymore against her, but he still just eats her alive so easily its a good pick to go if you can’t handle moira.

Yep. Moira is a good duelist because she won’t miss and has lots of self sustain. If you bring somebody to the fight with high damage and either self sustain or more than average HP, you’ll probably kill her or at least force her to run.
Lol yep. Exactly. If one is struggling against Moira, maybe one should push the H key. There’s a lot of heroes to whom Moira is a minor annoyance at best.
Reaper could pull off a similar sort of thing. The few times a Reaper came after me as Moira I just faded out because I knew I couldn’t do anything vs him in a 1v1.

spamrats are the worst, I just want a fun and easy game and the moment those creatures show… it’s just a game where you have to leave,or afk in spawn not to get solo ulted (i don’t blame them tho, Mercy left unchecked is also bad) or just hope your dps can outplay that so you can actually use res
Hitscan heroes. They’re good at killing an airborne Mercy and negate much of the value of her Guardian Angel. They’re also quite good at stopping resurrection at the drop of a hat.

My pistol switch time means I can’t shoot her before she hacks me. Once she hacks me, I can’t use my primary means of self defense, GA.

You’d be surprised who and what Moira can kill. Not sure enough people give her credit on what she can do if played correctly.
I agree. I meant surprisingly in general, not surprising to me. Moira isn’t people’s go to answer for this. However Mercy is never going to 1v1 a Moira and she can tickle Mercy to death pretty easily if Mercy’s team doesn’t address the Moira.
