im sorry but he is one of the hardest things to hit in this game he gets across the map faster then anyone in the game and causes long drown out games because his mobility is so high and can out run everything in the game.
He’s a squishy support character who shoots pretty slow projectiles; he needs to be highly mobile. If you’re having trouble killing him, use burst-damage heroes or heroes that don’t need pinpoint accuracy.

At most ranks the Lucio’s that are hardest to hit are also the ones who do the least. If the Lucio is actually fighting you and you can’t hit him then that’s on you.

Lucio is fine as is. Leave him be. If he’s troubling you, pick a character that’s easy to aim with(Winston, Sym, Moira, or Brigitte) or pick sombra and hack him.
If a Lucio is soloing you, then that’s a you problem, not a Lucio problem

I’m usually contesting like crazy AND healing my team more than the other healer ( even mercy )
As for the flanking Lucio …well I’m always impressed when I see one of them because I can’t reach that level i’m just focused on helping my team

It sounds like you’re a good Lucio player then, I see a lot of them just wall-riding for the sake of it and being an afterthought in a teamfight.
The thing is
When I wallride around the point I always check to see if I have teammates in my aura/ wallriding around my tanks , this way people can’t focus me , and I’m buffing my team and peeling for them if needed
And if the fight goes in the bad way I can simply keep contesting a bit on my own ( or sometimes long enough for one to two people to join me and start the party again while they didn’t get the point for course )
Flanking Lucio are usually detrimental for their team and if he really annoy you , a decent sombra will make him think more about harassing your backline ( and even without her his gun is SO BAD )
Sombra turn Lucio into " a regular black guy" like I love to say

Yeah, but how many Sombras do you see right now? Lucio’s real strength is speedboosting his team into a good spot for an engagement, that’s been amazing since launch.
But do you guys remember when Lucio’s aura was 30 meters? Lol.

But even then if a Lucio really annoy you or you feel like he is having too much impact sombra basically make his life hell
He is literally unplayable vs her which isn’t healthy but y’know can’t complain because of her overall state

If lucio could keep his speed up all the time, yeah it might need a bit of a nerf. The thing is if he is giving speed he’s not healing. Which is usually in the enemy team’s benefit unless they are all running hit scan. Lucio’s speed boost is usually a drawback for anything but getting to the point fast.
Actually fighting with speed boost running is hard to do if your not used to it. Any character that requires precision aiming might actually dislike Lucio if he keeps speed boosting them. It can also make your healers jobs more difficult for any without an auto lock. Just try hitting your Anna shots onto a speed boosted genji, he’s going to need more than healing by the time you land a blow lol.
All that said i like lucio over all but i do kind of feel more hero’s need to be able to speed boost their team in some way so it’s not such a unique feature. Perhaps another hero might just boost one ally at a time or something, but something to share the ability to more hero’s. Frankly the only reason Lucio is so important half the time is because there is such a long boring walk to the point for defense teams.
If I’m speed boosting during a fight, it’s because we’re close enough that high precision doesn’t matter so much; you’re gonna be taking shots. Or, there’s a couple of people remaining, and I want the team to chase them down and create stagger. It’s great and tons of fun for close quarters combat with aggressive teams.

Lucio is one of the easiest to kill healers in the game because his primary fire is crap. Learn to track and you will melt him.
