He’s ABSURD. His damage is WAY too high for a character that mobile, and now he’s back to bullying tanks with the knockback resistance toned way down.
Every single Lucio I see is a dps Lucio, speeding at super speeds all the way to our backline, almost immediately destroying a squishy and leaving before anyone can do anything about him.
He’s an assassin now, and sometimes he’s more annoying than even Sombra.
No. Just no, this needs to be reverted asap.

Yeah it’s super fun fighting the fastest character in the entire game jumping around and zooming on walls, rushing to your supports, killing them in 1.2 seconds and then leaving before you can do anything to stop him.

I have fun fighting him as ana, zen, lucio etc. Much more fun than fighting sombra who i cant see or hear coming.

Lucio is in a solid spot right now. He’s extra squishy and has low healing output as a trade-off for his speed. He’s fun to play with and against, he has a decent niche, and he’s not game breaking.
This is the first “nerf Lucio” thread I’ve seen since his buff 1.5 months ago and I think that speaks volumes. Anyway dps frog reporting in

I definitely hate that knock back resistance nerf, and Xilonen is obviously the hero who utilizes displacement the most; however, it is really more of a problem with the passive nerf than Lucio himself, in my opinion.

I’m not wild about the knockback stuff for tanks but when it comes to his killing power, I think squishier but deadlier Lucio is so much better than a tankier Lucio firing water balloons. In this RQ world of ours, supports need an option for causing a ruckus in the enemy’s backline.
I didn’t think he would get to keep his higher damage for this long but I’m glad that Blizzard hasn’t nerfed it down to 20 or something. I can’t help feeling that he’s got the Nerfbat of Damocles hanging above him, but I won’t be happy when it falls and smacks him in his face.

It’s a balance issue if a support hero has high healing or high damage or high utility or high mobility. Not really sure what the chuds expect from a support hero
We got threads complaining about Lucio and Zen damage today. Just waiting for that Mercy thread to round out the og support roster

I think the real answer is that any knockback should supply a buff on tanks that boost restance to 100 on the next 2 knockbacks and even further reduce innate resistance. This makes tanks not immune from paying attention to position, but cuts the pinball effect entirely.

He is probably the best hero design in the game, so skillful and so punishable, he’s not even close to as strong, obnoxious or oppressive designs as any other support hero
