Don’t know why everyone keeps saying Lucio is good, still has bad pickrate and mediocre winrate. He’s the 2nd worst support after Mercy.
Maybe increase his default aura by 2 HPS and make sound barrier instant? It’s kinda stupid that Zen has a better default kit than Lucio and a much better ult because it’s instant yet Lucio has to take slightly less than a second despite his ult needing to be timed much more precisely to be effective.
Statistically so, but he’s by far the funnest support to play. I know it doesn’t mean much but how fun a hero is can outweigh their viability.
Yea but why play Lucio when you can play Zen, a hero that is much more powerful and I find him more fun. I think I would like to play Lucio but his kit just seems to be alot worse than Zens overall and I think every season has kind of showed that ever since he got nerfed to the ground.
i really dislike they nerfed lucio, he clearly wasnt even what made dive so strong.
I think they gotta bring his DPS up to 25 per bullet, currently he does more DPS than Zen but you have to hit every bullet to do that and tracking projectiles is considerably harder than shooting one.
Lucio is pretty good if you can hit your shots and keep your team together to use the auras. Sound Barrier cast time is definitely an issue though
when i play lucio i get top healing and shut down a plethora of ults

Yea but oddly enough I find it harder to hit his shots than I do on Zen, even though you shoot 4 bullets with Lucio and 1 with Zen. Not only that but Zen does 45 DPS per bullet without discord while Lucio does 20. This is abit like McCree and Soldier where McCree has 60 DPS and Soldier has 170 but Soldier has more difficulty actually hitting all his bullets.
As a Diamond Lucio main , no, he is good, just can be a very hard to play sometimes vs some heroes with CC/burst damage.
Lucio is, in my opinion, the hardest character to play in OW. If you overbuff him so he looks healthy in lower Elos, he will decimate entire teams in higher Elos.
People talk about Genji having hard mechanix but I think Lucio is way harder. His wall Ride was made easier but you can’t wall ride by just hanging on the wall because that’s a one way ticket to spawn room. Being able to to utilize the entire map makes him unique and gives his kit an entire different dimension when you master it.
To truly master his movement + being able to fully utilize his primary fire and using his Boop not only for the easy enviro kills but to masterfully displace a team takes a lot of skill.

This would normally be the case, but Anti-heal counters transcendence, so sound barrier>transcendence (currently). Lucio is also much better against Doomfist that Zen.
99% of people don’t consider Brigitte a support, despite the fact that she doesn’t have the worst healing. It’s mostly because of the role she is normally picked for. She is a third support or an off-tank.
I think Lucio would be better with a bigger aura, just to give Lucio players and their teammates more freedom of movement.
