I was playing comp, had 69%, played a match, won, didn’t make any progress instead I lost 1 percent. I am now at 68%. Not only did I lose percent, I didn’t even make anything for winning. I do not understand…
What was your match result before that game?
(You’re bound to get some damp people jump in to tell you how awful blizzard are at things and blah blah blah, when there is likely to be a very simple explanation)
I’m sure the devs have some kind of weird a$$ explanation but it’s invalid, confusing things like this should be explained on the screen so people don’t get confused.
If it makes you feel any better, the matchmaking is completely broken so it could have said + infinity points but it means nothing.
That’s what happens at a game company after you’ve pushed out many of the people that were competent…Now it’s a skeleton crew keeping the game up and about the only people that do actual work are the artists who have always delivered in this game. It’s sad what this game has become but this was an inevitable outcome given the leadership of Team 4 and Activision Blizzard. Microsoft bought Call of Duty and the King (mobile games studio) and didn’t care for the other games so there’s a slim chance that Overwatch will ever be great again. Diablo, WoW, and even Call of Duty are now pure cash cows that require minimal investment but bring in enough money to make them worth the hassle to keep alive. Call of Duty is a clown fiesta, just like Overwatch, but it makes money so nobody at Xbox cares to do anything but milk their audiences as much as they can.
In theory this shouldn’t happen anymore but i still reckon there is code in there they dont know about 
The thing is that explanations here doesn’t matter. Reality is that he see loss on the screen after win and that should not be the case.
Even if it’s visual bug or whatever, that bug should have been fixed long time ago.
And if they leaving that kind of bugs it only means there is plenty more that actually matters for the outcome of your rank.
This bug is not addressed already for a couple seasons.
It’s such an irrelevant bug, I get have bigger fish to fry.
