I have lost connection to the server for no reason and I can’t rejoin the match, and I have been banned 2hrs …

Happens to me multiple times a day. Cannot get anywhere near diamond ever because of so many server disconnects. (Ps4)

Still Disconnects … still banned … and now 8hrs banned … not my fault …
What happen in this Season ?

Same to me, crashes for no reason randomly sometimes. I have suffered the 8 hours ban too (with the -150 sr points for free). Feel sorry for you bro.

The worst is when it crashes when you just have find a ranked game, and even you can rejoin and pick a hero, the game gets closed and you get your ban.

I think that they could give us more than 10 seconds…like i dont know, 30 seconds? It wont change anything for the people that stay in the game, and it could save some guys like us…

I’ve had this happen to me last night and again just now.

Both times: The profile look-up would take a very long time while on actively hearing calls on voice chat, but the first time I was outright disconnected. This time I was sent back to the main screen with the rejoin match.

Curiously, I was logged out in the forum as well this second time around.

There’s something either dodgy with the Blizzard servers or with the route to their servers, from the east coast.

Edit: No other internet outages and stuck with a 30 minute ban. Sigh.

Hop #10 has 10% packet loss. That will cause you to disconnect. You’d have to resolve hostnames to figure out where the issue is geographically.

If you experience any sort of repeated connection problem to the game, stop playing Competitive because it isn’t fair to other players, that’s why the penalties are in place.

But besides that, have any of you tried troubleshooting your connection to Blizzard specifically, other than the OP? No one can help you if the only info you provide is “I am disconnecting.” We need to see network tests like the one OP posted.

Thank you for your reply … I joined 11 season and only got this issue in season 12 … I think I will play quick play to the end of this season and will try again in season 13

Thanks, but over the two years I’ve played in OW I can count the number of disconnects on my side on one hand. Virtually every single time I’ve experienced a problem it’s either lead to an announcement by Blizzard or it was already announced.

So one disconnect is an “oh well”. Two disconnects with very similar symptoms raises suspicions.
