I have been trying to solve this problem for about 2 hours and I have done everything I can. I seem to not be able to log into the America overwatch servers. I am able to log into the EU and Asia servers fine but not Americas. It allows me to connect to the game server but when it says entering game it just stops and says “Lost connection to game server” even though my internet is fine and I can load any other game fine. I have tried reinstalling the game, restarting my modem and routers and scanning my game files. Nothing I do seems to work so now I am seeking help from someone who knows better. If anyone has the solution to this I would be grateful if you could share it.

I just had this problem today, read my thread. i can log into my alt account but not my 2 main accounts. same problem, i can go into asia servers but not USA servers. very strange problem
Me and my friend is experiencing the same error as well. We cannot connect to US Servers and but can connect to ASIA and Europe.
I have raised a ticket to SUpport but they cannot also figure our was wrong>
Same with me. Where are you all playing from though? Because I know SEA servers are on Singapore and my Singaporean friends are able to play at the time of writing.
As for the problem itself, I suspect they had some change with their servers on Amazon AWS which isn’t documented publicly. If this is the case, nothing we can do until they fix the server configs. For now, we can only check our files.
Im located in Singapore. My account cannot play in US servers, but i tried my friends account in my PC. and his account works.
If it’s a server issue, it should affect all users. this is somehow selective.

Because apparently it’s not Blizzard’s own problem.
How can it be a cable issue when some players located in singapore can play in US Servers… its not gonna be because the cloud provider made some changes…
if its a cable issues ALL users should be impacted… if its AWS then it should affect all accounts or whatever…
if use vpn to connect to overseas server (non-singapore) can login butt lag

my friends can play this game but no for me. i dont know what to do now. any resolutios for this?
I still havent found anything but vpn works. Its got to be something to do with our IPS. Check if people have the same IPS as you if they do and they cant play then its that. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I don’t wont to decay :(.
Right now i can play at Asia server. but the ping there damn high. still playable if we go Quickplay. but for comp i dont think so.
There is still no news about this yet. Support is no longer responding on my ticket.

I’m not a Singaporean but I know I have a friend who has Starhub as well, still able to play the last time I saw him today.
Do you think swapping to a different ISP will do anything at all or not? Cause it starting to become annoying that I cant play without using VPN.
Switching ISPs might enable you to connect due to possibly the different route they take to reach the login server. In my case, however, it didn’t do a thing.
For Starhub users, you might want to ask your tech support to re-route your connection. I have talked to the Blizzard supports and they said they are also looking into this problem and what we can only do right now is to contact our ISP.
Also @Blizzard, can you freeze SR decay for Diamond and up if this problem lives over 24 hours?
