"Lost connection to game server issue " (PC) (Oct 2024)

there is currently an issue with the OW game servers.

i am not able to play the game, i would get kicked every few mins, with the error “Lost connection to Game server”

my internet and ISP is working as it should. (reset/replaced router) /reinstalled OS

Looking at the forums there seems to be a lot of post about this issue

can you guys, please look into it, i can’t play the game. always getting kicked by the server

This is happening in NA too, had 2 games tonight that ended due to server errors and everyone was kicked from the games. Seems to be a growing issue.

Yes have been repeatedly kicked out while playing QP/Compe, spectating or even just at the home lobby.
Seems like all this started for me after the overdrive patch. Never had any of these disconnections issues prior.
Also received drop leaver suspension and -25% exp.

OW2 game itself causes a DC spike, which momentarily crashes the entire internet.

mine, just Disconnects me mid game, as shown on your thread, and ping spikes yes.

there is something def wrong with blizzard’s server, its fustrating that they have not responded about this issue

It’s 2025 in may and somehow it’s happening to me
