I have about 4 - 10 things left for every hero (except moira and doomfist those are more like 15-20 and not including gold guns and pixel/cute sprays). Yet I’m only getting duplicate items in my boxes. Is this an intentional thing? I understand from a marketing standpoint I guess but I thought the duplicate thing was not supposed to happen as often as it used to?
They’re still higher rarity items (assuming you’re missing pink/gold), so they aren’t guaranteed to show up once you have everything below them.
The lootbox change pretty much made it guaranteed that you would always get all sprays/avatars/chromas (especially when new ones are released), then back to duplicates.
And the duplicates aren’t as bad as they used to be. I remember last Lunar New Year I got the old Mercy skin like… 7-10 times.

First it rolls rarity of the lootbox items, then it rolls the items.
Getting duplicates means you have all currently available items of that rarity unlocked.

I remember getting one of the Lucio skins in the first summer games more times than i got some sprays and voicelines it seems. That was a dark time indeed

Wh-why are you apologizing? Anyway if you play regularly (even a lootbox a day) you should get a decent amount of credits stored up and have pretty much all white and blue rarity items. I have almost all whites, all blues and most purples. I could be lucky though.
