I was opening my lootboxes then realized I was still in queue so I canceled it. When I returned the screen went black and everything was unresponsive. I had to exit the game, when I came back I didn’t get any loot from the loot boxes and it registered them as opened.

I had a similar issue. I was auto queued into a game when i was opening 6 lootboxes and nothing came out of the boxes. The animation played and it just said 0 items

I also just had this happen!! It froze on a weird screen with the loot box and it didn’t open any of them, after I closed app and reopened all my loot boxes were gone and I didn’t have any new items 
This just happened to me also! I even went to my hero gallery to see if anything was there but I had nothing new, I even restarted my game and computer to see if that would help. What a waste of my time 
this just happened to me, I was in the match queue and went to open 3 lootboxes, for some reason I was disconnected from the server and when I came back I hadn’t won anything, but my boxes were used.
