Hey im just wondering what the limit on the skins you can get from them are?
4 per box, and limited to stuff you don’t have. Not as much of a gamble as before, but still a gamble
It is why (along with no one being interested) they aren’t keeping old passes open.
I meant like in the actual loot you get from it, is it limited specifically like can you not get certain shop skins etc
Cant wait to not open the 2 skins they made for junk since ow2 launched
They’ve said shop skins will be in there.
Probably just special event/collaboration stuff and mythics that aren’t going to be in there.

i see. I figured anyway collaboration stuff wouldn’t be included like Transformers etc but i wonder if the Warcraft collab stuff would be included though since its blizzard IP

If anything is going to it’ll be the WoW and Diablo stuff. But I think it’ll a hard rule.

Yeah I think they’ve only disclosed the chances but not specifics about which Shop or Collabs will or will not be there.
Makes sense that the “on rotation” Shop skins would be there but not the collabs + Mythics. I guess we will get more info in the upcoming weeks.

It’d be cool if they went the League of Legends route concerning lootbox content.
They let you type in a hero or skin name and it shows you the chances of getting that cosmetic if it’s available. If you don’t type anything it shows you everything iirc.
Yeah the Moira Lilith was in the Max shop and it has come back for Halloween same with inarius phara iirc. Those have a good chance of being in lootboxes at the very least.
It’ll probably include all rotation skins. With other collabs not being in the rotation per se
Well…they sorta did it but it’s a bit jank.
It’s a huge non-filterable list that isn’t limited to what I personally can roll.
As such, it list costetics I already have and it’s not easy to check in the lootbox screen.
Additionally, upon logging in and checking, I realized that I didn’t cancel my gamepass sub. As a result two of the example skins shown on the lootbox page have a check mark…and I have no idea if I can roll for those or not.
But at least the hero gallery clearly states that those skins are gamepass benefits now. I think the last season I played didnt have that.
That being said I’m gonna wait untio near season end to open my boxes. My gamepass should be expired by then.
Would there be a chance for old battle pass to make an appearance in the Loot boxes? There were some speculation that because if you have a skin that you can’t get anymore if you filter your skins in the hero gallery, it’ll say that it is available in the shop and then there’s a button to open Shop, but then it says it’s not available. Could they return in loot boxes?

someone on reddit got an old store skin. I got a legendary 8 year old skin called the Raindancer for Pharah that sometimes shows up on the store as well. so Im guessing mostly anything can be in the boxes besides probably collab skins like the OPM or CB skins but I could be wrong. I hope those show up in the boxes too
I hope so! I still want that Demon Queen Moira skin.

The list is in game. Click on the rarities on the left side of the Loot Box information screen and it gives you the full listing of what’s available.
Hope they added OWL skins to the boxes…
I got the Moira Lillith banner in one of my boxes earlier today, so I’m sure you can get the skin.
The issue is that the list doesn’t exclude what you own and (afaik) is not filterable – no checking for a specific hero or skin. It’s was a huge block of text when I checked yesterday.
Additionally, it’s not 100% clear if the temporary game pass skins are available, though I would assume that those wouldn’t be rolled based on previous experience and the check mark on a couple on the lootbox menu. I’ve love to be wrong though.
If you got to the main menu → Click lootboxes → Hit F1 on the keyboard: You will literally get a detail explanation of all the skins included in the boxes. Which you have and even the percent chance to get Epic, legendary.
Honestly, surprisingly good information available on that F1 page. Ill give em that.
I unlocked all of the normal obtainable legendaries in OW1 and so far Ive gotten 2 legendary Weapon skins from the shop.
