Hi there, my name is Mason and I really would like to get into OverWatch. I bought the game when it came out on Xbox then bought it again last year on PC. I am not very good at the game (haven’t played that much), but I would like to get better at the game and have a group/team to play with instead of dealing with randoms. Hopefully who ever is reading this can understand where I am coming from and would like to participate then please respond to this. I am only level 21 on PC but I only recently just started playing again because I had to leave for awhile and lost interest in the game. Sorry for rambling as well. Anyways if you are willing to help me and other get better at the game or just grow as a team than please respond. Also please lets keep to a adult-ish level, like no kids. Hello EffecT, I have been playing about the same amount of time but only on PC as of February. Now I am not a Pro but I am good at many of the Overwatch heroes. I am trying get a six stack team that I can call my friends and climb up the ranks in Competitive. So if you are interested let me know, EffecT. Now two tips from I have learned playing almost everyday since I bought Overwatch. First is do not be a one trick. I found in Competitive there many of them. For example you que up with a couple of friends and a random picks Junkrat and you only play Junkrat in Competitive. So the team suffers and most cases loses. This just in general not talking about you, Effect since it was only an example. So I suggest picking at least three heroes you want to learn and become good at. Doesn’t matter if there all DPS like Genji, Sombra and Tracer or then again there in different categories like Ana, Reaper and Winston. So yeah, select at least three heroes you want to get great at. Me and others and give you tips on getting better with one or all three heroes you choose. This way when you enter a Competitive and someone picks Junkrat you are like okay looks like we could use a Tank and pick Roadhog or Winston. Second is to get a Mic if you do not have one already. Now I am using a cheap one that I use to use when playing on my Playstation 3 before it died. I found calling out enemies really helps my my team and 90% of time we Win that match. Because I called out a Pharah and Reaper were coming in on the right side when the rest of the enemy players are coming straight for us at the objective.
