Since the battle launcher announced a maintenance update. I have had really long (Enter game) screen (Today it took 20 mins sitting on (Entering game) ), I have friends i regularly play with that do not have this issue they log in and enter the game with in 3 mins. (Like I use to). I have asked around and it seems no one on my friends list for OW have this issue as well.
For troubleshooting:
I uninstalled the game and reinstalled
Did a driver update check (all was up to date)
Did a corrupt files check using command prompt (No files found)
Did blizzards (Scan and repair TWICE) the second time an UPDATE was required (So it found something and repaired it)
But i am still having this issue of long as queue times just to log in to the game (Not actual game/match/rounds queue times)
Every so often when i click Play OverWatch it logs in then says (Lost connection to game server) but continues to log in no problems but then get stuck on (entering game) for 20 minutes.
If anyone has a resolve to this or has the same issue and discovered what causes please reach out.
