You know whats worse and even sad?
That I can bet 90% of my money that the dudes saying that are either an alt account from a hard stuck gold/silver/plat and or they ALL have private profiles.

Yeah, it’s like 10% of the player base in Diamond by the old numbers. Gold is the meatiest in the thirty plus percentile. I’d feel accomplished if I could climb out of Gold into Plat!
I was stuck in plat for 14 seasons. Those were troubled times.
People would try to find a reason to insult you no matter what.
“Oh, Plat border still Masters and not GM? Hohoho”
“Oh, one Plat border in Plat!!”
Diamond is a good rank, but they are trying to find any way they can to insult you. Just ignore them.

Viewing too much streams burns a great deal of brain cells.
People who use diamond rank as an insult are most possibly also diamond, but fantasize themselves as High GM after viewing so many streams.
I had people that went “lol plat, i should expect trash teammates in a rank so low”, while being hardstuck plats themselves (!).
Claiming that your rank is trash doesn’t make you better than the people in the same rank as you. If anything else, it makes you worse.

duude xD hard stuck gm with plat border is a thing aswell. Just dont pay attention, if someone trashtalking like that, u know who they are.
People even say that to GMs. Lulz only 4200 trash can.

Idk, diamond seems like something to be proud of, we are in the top 4 ranks and about 10% of all players make it here and stay.
It’s what people do when they have to reroute feelings of inadequacy or self-loathing thoughts. So either way you can ignore it the best you can and just hope they don’t self-tilt hard enough to lose the match for y’all.
If the team is already losing and wish ruin their day, you can go ahead and do that. Just say blunt facts or statements. If they somehow cause the person to self-reflect, then hey, you did a good thing! If they still stay negative/rude, at least you get to throw shade at them and dismiss their absurd attitude they have in a video game setting.
Example:
Sorry you’re feeling and being bad.
Sorry you’re incapable of dealing with emotions properly.
Sorry you’re mad for irrational reasons.
Deflecting won’t make you feel better in the long run.
It’s just a video game.
Your comments aren’t getting us anywhere.

(i dont actually know what my SR is…its hard to gauge when you only ever do placements and it places you within like 200 points of previous season every time…for all i know im actually a bronze rank)

i got trash talked by a couple of silver/gold mercy mains playing dps. i wasnt even really trying cuz it was rq beta and i literally dont care about comp at all. I was only playing so much comp during that time because it was rq beta and i didnt want to play dpswatch anymore. so they mocked me for playing mercy (when theyre both mercy mains??? lol) and being hard stuck in plat with a plat boarder (which i’m not. ive been diamond for multiple seasons and master for one but i let myself fall because thats how little i care about comp lol) and for being gay. (they decided because im a guy playing mercy. lol) i just muted them and then blocked and reported and avoided them. lol
forgot to mention they also threw over one mistake i made.
