Just curious what people do with the wireless and wired report rate. ive heard going above 1000hz can cause issues? anyone confirm this?
also, the lightforce switch, do most people use hybrid or optical only, and the gaming surface, do they have it on or off? do any of these settings make any difference at all? i use a glass mousepad from razer.
also, does using the onboard memory make any difference in latency or response?
I wouldn’t go above 4k, but I wouldn’t go below 2k either. The accuracy buff is insane until you go too high and start shaking.
I’d keep gaming surface on until the pad gets scratched, because a scratched glass pad will make the sensor spin out. Happens less with gaming surface off, but it also feels less accurate. So imo you want to keep it on for as long as possible, until you notice issues.
Onboard reduces latency but I’m pretty sure it’s negligible because I never have that on

I asked my wife and she keeps hers at 3k with optical. Apparently hybrid has issues sometimes. Optical has better latency.
yeah, im just trying to find something that works because, something has changed. I used to be able to get 60% to 65% scoped accuracy on Ana fairly regularly, for some reason this last week ive been struggling to get 50% accuracy, so im trying to figure out what has happened..if a setting is off or something.

no, had it for a couple years now. just something is off, it may not be the mouse. when i see gameplay footage on youtube of other people, it’s like everything is liquid smooth and everything is in slow motion, the people they are aiming at are kind moving gently, not really fast moves.
When I play, the people im aiming at are making extremly rapid changes of directions, in mid air even, just go from moving one way to moving another in the blink of an eye, and makes it hard to keep aim on them, so im wondering if maybe something in my computer is having problems or something in my mouse.
Granted, ive never had everything look slow motion like they do inthe videos i watch…so i have no idea
Honestly I think if you’re having issues then you should just drag it into either the range or practice and goof off with the settings until you figure it out.
also, and this is the weird thing. I can play Bap or Ana and its hard to aim, but i can play juno and aim just fine…strangest thing

Okay, there’s a couple of ways that we can go and look at this. So let me ask you this when you first start off. Are you noticing any frame rate issues or does it just seem like your mouse is moving slower than what it should be? There’s different lines of troubleshooting for both and I can give you a hand with it if you like.
mouse doesnt seem to be giving me any troubles, but..every once in a blue moon, ill get a frame rate stutter, but it’s just very rarely. its like everything freezes, for just a split second, then goes back to normal.
My biggest issue is inconsistency with aim. I have yet to figure this out, and i swear it has something to do with time of day. Like, late at night, or sometimes early in the morning, my accuracy improves, or at least it feels like I can hit things really well, but during the afternoon, the aim starts getting worse and i have a hard time tracking targets. It’s almost as if, there is nothing i can do to keep my aim on the target, im just all over the place, left, right, etc. Sometimes, it almost feels like something is pushing my mouse away from the target. I know that doesnt make sense but, there are times when it feels like, despite my best efforts, I simply cannot keep my reticle on target, yet, if i wait til later in the evening, it’s like that goes away, and suddenly, i can aim again.
Im on AT&T fiber internet, so i dont think the “cable shared pool” would have anything to do with it.
And you have already stated that playing other characters doesn’t do this correct?
i have had times where i can play ana, and bap, and seems like aim is struggling, but i can swap over to juno, and suddenly i can track again.
Well. It’s 1 of 2 things. Either A: you start getting tired in the afternoon or B: you have the menu mouse sensitivity bug. Before we start, when did this issue show up?
