I’m seeing many reports from people unable to access OW2 due to a security verification bug.
When accessing the game, I am prompted to access a web browser or scan a QR code to verify my account. Upon trying to access this browser, I’m given an HTTP 400 error. Ultimately im prompted with a “no console credentials for FINISHSMSCHALLENGE” error message and cannot get into the game. I have yet to see any appropriate solutions for this issue. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
I just got this issue on PS5 right after I finished a match and it kicked me offline. I verified my account multiple times and still get the same issue. I restarted my PS5 and the game and still can’t log back in.
I am experiencing the same issue on ps4. I bought the battle pass day 1 only to immediately be unable to play the game for the past week.
Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t do anything and I verified on my laptop, cellphone and ps4.
Found a fix. Install Steam version and verify through that. I just tested on PS5 and I can also log into that version as well. I am not sure why verifying on console didn’t work.
Can confirm that the comment above is the only fix at the moment it seems.
The fact that this is the only solution for this issue is embarassing and incredibly frustrating. Blizzard needs to address this and fix it now. There are many people who probably do not have access to a PC to fix this on their own.
I think this is an Xbox error message, not one from the game client. Does anyone have the error ID?
400, if that’s what you’re looking for and I’ve had the issue on PS5, it seems an odd coincidence that both consoles force this issue if it’s not the game client’s fault.
You are not the only one having this issue. I have tried asking support. They really told me to get a new console or new phone because it’s my fault. Genuinely so helpful. (Incase an employee is reading this, that was sarcasm)
Maybe not only Xbox. This is happening on PlayStation as well.

I’m having the same issue on ps5, I can’t log into the game. I got kicked while in a match and when trying to get back in the game I got the error message.
