While im trying to get better with this “unlucky” support from day one of release i had noticed how “Lifeweaver is a main healer support mostly” that can of course save a lot of heroes with Life Grip every 19 seconds but has left me a little bit confused of why they gave him only one and only one way of healing others without counting of course life grip that gives only 50 HP and without counting also the ult?
They should try to give him a secondary way for heal possibly a AOE heal like a smaller version of the tree that he use as ult, maybe a reworked version of the scraped flower that he used to left to anyone when he’s K.O when he was released , what i had in mind is to give the buff to the flower platform that anyone can use and gives a heal per second like 20Hp per second until is destroyed after 10 seconds or by the enemy team, in this way this change would make the platform a “knife with 2 blades” of an ability maybe more dangerous for those that stay on top of it but rewarding and to give Lifeweaver more space for single healing, what you think?
Okay, but why are we simply not counting his other forms of healing? He heals plenty even as a Deathweaver. Um, my version of Deathweaver. DPS only. Not that mixed garbage that Ayanga promotes.
If the goal is to make more people hate Lifeweaver, this is a great suggestion. I am all for it.
Now you know damn well Ive shown waaaay to many replay codes for this to be true.
There’s to many extreamly good weavers out there to consider a rework, the man can get really good results with his current kit it just takes the right player.
But not the ones he needs. That’s the issue. They keep focusing on his healing, when that’s not the problem. What they SHOULD try buffing is thorns, either their damage or ammo
yeah ive seen many videos of good “bad” heroes over the years too…good players can make stuff work…it doesnt mean the hero isnt bad…every single time period in the game where the consensus was that X hero was garbage you could go on the top 500 lists and find 1 or 2 people playing that hero (exclusively even)
like its great that you do well with him…darn right impressive actually…but to most players the hero is simply lacking…especially when compared to the rest of the roster…we can continue to buff him over and over again…there are still better options…because the other supports simply provide better value to the team…the game is more than just numbers
I don’t think he needs more healing abilities. I think the Blossom charge time should be lower, Thorns could apply a burn, and/or Petal/Grip/Dash could provide a temporary ally buff.
Why? He always has the highest healing by far in the games I play with and against him. Often 25-50% higher than mercy. And he has many more assists and can save people more often with both platform and pull. He also counters several ults with his abilities, in fact, most ults because he can pull someone away from any ult, even Mauga’s.
He also, pretty much always, has the lowest deaths, often 1 or 2 in a game.
Why exactly does he need a buff? He might need changes to make him more fun, but I don’t see he needs a buff? And if he does, it certainly should not be to healing.
Interestingly, at low ranks, LW+Mercy is an almost guaranteed win as long as the rest of your team go high damage heroes. LW saves mercy, and mercy saves LW. I’ve seen many games where they have 0 or 1 death between them for the entire game and win easily.
But then that’s because people can’t hit mercy and weaver can stand way at the back and pretty much out of LoS of the enemy most of the time.
lets not buff weaver any more then he already was buffed. playing with weaver sucks, playing into weaver sucks and playing as weaver is boring. ive got an idea! delete lifeweaver from the game. or at least rework him to do more then healbot and have no denial cooldowns
