Literally impossible to play Dva more than 1 minute

Play Dva
Randomly kill some enemies
They switch to Sym, zen, zarya, mei, ana
Proceed to get bursted in not even 2 s and be dead

It’s literally almost impossible to play a hero you like which doesnt get countered by FOMO heroes

Mbrace explain it better than me but basically what he’s saying there.

Same with Genji lol do good and people bring out cheesy beam heroes, i’d at least respect if they picked cree

zen doesnt always stop dva but zarya she is op as heck

Sometimes people go Moira too, cause of beam M2, even despite the orbs being eatable by DM.

It’s 5 v 1. Did you really expect to win?

“I got killed by heroes I don’t like & it’s not fair.”

TL;DR - Players switched to counter me, & I don’t like it. Rather than learn how to play against the heroes, I’m going to make a board to complain about it.

There’s some heroes who get countered way more easily than others and it happens Dva is one of them which is a hero i found the gameplay fun but ruined by the counter meta

So it goes back to:

Am I not supposed to play heroes I like, in fear I’ll “ruin game for you”? bbfr

Not to mention, of those characters, the only ones that are actually counters are zarya & symm.

Edit - Zen is maybe a soft counter.

So it’s normal a character can get countered by a marge larger roster than a another hero?

Yeah, this fact alone has pretty much killed my interest in Overwatch. Nice to see when other people acknowledge it instead of throwing out the tired old, “She’s fine and/or might need a slight nerf” lines. :crazy_face: (Like I haven’t heard that one before.)

And people complain about over healing? But to be fair Dva has always struggled, she’s just not made to be a solo tank imo.

Funny enough her “counters” are rarely the problem imo. Sojourn, Widow etc are far bigger targets to Dva. They light her huge crit box up like crazy, and the few seconds of DM don’t really help that.

Yeah, everyone switching to counter is getting to be a problem on all the roles. Ball is worst.

I think the number one problem to Dva is when she faces either a Sym or a zen.

It really lowers her potential in combat by a large margin

It’s funny you say that when only 2/5 really count as a counter, 1/5 is a soft counter & 2/5 don’t counter her.

Counters:
DPS - Yes: Tracer, Sombra, Reaper (funny that reaper is your icon & name…)
Possibly: Symm

Tank - Yes: Zarya, Sigma
Possibly: Orisa

Support - Yes: Bap, Kirko, Brig
Possibly: Zen

And I’d say the character with the most counters is Orisa, Junrkat, Kirko, or Brig.
Def not Dva, lol

The meta is complete dog****, it’s so unbelievably bad. You know it’s bad when the most boring tanks have to get played.

The complain is certaint heroes like Dva basically barely get to be played. The typical experience is you get to play her for the first minute or so of a match, then the enemy team goes full tryhard-counter mode making Dva nigh-unplayable.

Switching heroes to counter is one thing. But it shouldn’t be to such a severe extant to where certain heroes basically never get to be played. Why shouldn’t Dva mains have the opportunity to play entire matches with her on a consistent basis? It doesn’t have to be the the degree of one-tricking, but any hero should be statistically viable for several match durations.
