Lots of people sayins Brigs counter is to stay at range. 2 people on the roster have effective abilities to get around her shield and kill her. The rest have to fight her shield head on from a distance or go in close to kill her.

Orisa has large spread. That large spread is nearly useless at 20 meters. It can’t effectively take down a 600 HP shield or do anything about her except CC, which Brig can easily block by looking in the direction of the orb.

Well if your point is to counter brig, then roadhog is a good choice, most people say she counters him because of being able to stun him out of his heal, but as roadhog if you stay out of her effective stun range, you can easily melt her shield with alt-fire, then hook her while her shield is down, (her shield will be down for long enough that you should be able to kill her) boom a tank that can counter brig.

Make up your mind with what range you are talking about.

Also: Orias’s spread is perfectly fine for the distanced tank whittling she is basically designed to do anyways.

18 meters is Brig’s max range. I rounded up to 20 for ease sake because 2 meters won’t make a significant difference in the spread of a hero.

Alright, well in either case if it’s a Briggette matchup you’re talking about Orisa has a lot of displacement and immunity to make Brig’s life hell.

She can CC Brig and call upon an ability to make herself immune to Brig’s cc and displacement. All while pumping damage into Brig’s sheild and sheilding her teammates.

Seems kinda like a moot point. If Orisa takes High ground at a distance it’s BG for Birgg

yeah brig doesn’t counter roadhog as most people think, just don’t play stupidly overaggresive as a tank, and maybe you’ll live.
