Here’s a list of every single of the 21 skins that got vaulted in OW2 season 2. These skins are normal credits skins but for some reason Blizzard decided to vault them. These skins are now showing up 1 after 1 for a limited time as Amazon Prime and PS+ perks FOMOs.
I think I saw the Socialite Ashe in the store once in the “for you” section, and when it was in store I was able to buy it with credits. (I just didn’t because I didn’t actually like that skin)
not surprised, theyre a greedy company desperately trying to up their marketing and fomo in this “game”, some of those skins probably werent even checked and overhauled when “ported” to ow2 and are low resolution like many legacy legendary and other rarity skins like reinhardt wujing
OW1 players had credits that they could use for buying skins. New players had no credits though until season 3 when they were available in the BP.
Before “credits” was available in the BP they were called “legacy credits”. They changed the name for the credits in season 3.
Still until season 3, all skins were unavailable for purchase from the hero gallery unless they showed up in the shop. You wouldn’t be able to tell which skins were “vaulted” because all skins that you didn’t own would show up as locked without a pricetag.
And I actually had to make a new account, I had no legacy credits to spend until Season 3 when they turned into credits.

Nearly half of the skins I’ve had in OW1 were missing and were locked behind shop, blizzard basically said they cant do anything in the tickets which is just pathetic, eventually there was enough of backlash from affected people and everyone else so they were essentially forced to makAe legacy skins free via old credits currency.
All loot box skins were not unavailable for purchase until season 3. I bought the last OW1 skins I didn’t own with “legacy credits” in season 1. In season 1 you could buy every single OW1 loot box skins and even the new OW2 hero gallery skins for new heroes with “legacy credits”.
In season 2 Blizzard vaulted 21 OW1 loot box skins which are the ones I mention in the post.
Possibly gonna be thrown into the shop next month and throughout the rest of the summer and into the summer games event along with lifeguard Mercy and soccer player Lucio?
Oh okay misunderstood a bit, bcs a few of my friends in past got confused as for some reason the default is “owned” now so I just thought they couldn’t see them anymore.
kinda pathetic tho lol they b removing OW1 skins and acting like they’re giving us treats by giving them for free
“event” skin like they were only obtainable from event lootboxes.
That doesn’t make them as rare as “challenge” skins like the medic baptiste or lego bastion
