List of all CC abilities

Probably called it that to conform to the idea’s he had presented, this counts as healing CC I guess.

I do think her nade counts as CC, it’s just not the kind we’re used to.

Yes it does, try for yourself (stand on the outer ring) .

Regarding Brigitte yeah, I thought the same but couldn’t see the effect on the training dummys. Thanks for noticing though, can anyone else confirm this?

Yes it does. It is a displacement ability. Standing in his circle of death, can knock you back a little.

It disables certain skills (heals specifically) in a way, so I can see it as a form of CC, but you are right. When you hear “CC” generally you think of control, slow, root, stun, or disable skills.

Biotic Grenade, EMP, and Hack are not crowd control. They are debuffs and in the same category as Damage Boost, Supercharger, and Discord.

Crowd control has to do with movement only.

You would have to count it because it still shows a significance in crowd controlling. If a healer cannot heal the anti’d hero, then that hero could be easily shut down.

Although if you’re standing there you have bigger problems than a bit of knock-back.

I’ll personally continue to count it as a debuff, like having discord on you.

Stun wouldn’t be a CC under that definition then…

It would only be roots, slows and boops.

CC is a subcategory of debuffs.

Stopping movement is controlling movement, last i checked.

Well Orisa has fortify… so I guess we are at 2?

Crowd Control (abbreviated to CC) is the term used to describe an ability or spell that temporarily reduces a unit’s ability to fight. The term ‘crowd control’ comes from the ability to control the enemy team during fights, by either restricting their contribution or means to escape

Hope that helps.

In a team based game like I have commented before, it isn’t really helpful at all. It is anti-CC, but not to he degree of what we need.

Stuns stop you from moving last I checked.

Zenyatta’s Transcendence?

also

Resurrect’s invulnerability period is CC immunity.

I guess? I mean, it does make him immune to almost all CC. xD

(That Junk-trap must be the strongest thing in OW)

Technically tracers blink/recall, moira’s fade and reapers wraith form all give invulnerability, if we’re counting those as anti cc.

Yes very true.

Honestly I’m making some jokes at this point.

In games where they introduce supports and tanks usually the tanks give themselves some immune to CC and Supports offer utility that sometimes offer CC resistance.

But the problem is they are trying to make each hero “unique” so only 1 hero is going to get CC resistance and that’s Orisa.

TBH I really would like the idea of Orisa being able to use Fortify on allies that are around her to give her AND her teammates CC resistance. That would be an interesting concept to try out.
