Throwing petal down should not cancel reload animations.
Also, don’t throw petal down during reload animations.
You reload once a while
You throw petal down once a while
Find the balance instead of hoping for changes.
Although, I did hear that they are considering adding some incentive for petal usage and the damage to heal toggle, remains to be seen.
Until then, make do.
“Make do” useless comments. He uses his right hand to attack/heal, left to throw petal. Make do with that.

It was not to use the ability, it was to not use reload and throwing petals together.
The incentive for petal is for positioning, have you never found yourself having to reload and escape at the same time? Happens every game.
I got 300+h in LW, I’m above level 115 on it.
Can say for sure this was never an issue on my end. Maybe extremely rarely, mostly cause i always have a petal ready in advance.
Not pulling advice out of my butt, giving actual advice after maining LW.

I’m happy for you. Doesn’t change the fact that using an ability with your left hand affects your weapon on your right. It does not feel natural–hence the quality of “life” change. It’s not a buff, nor a nerf.

Anyway, I’m also a Weaver main, and I see nothing wrong with this change. I’d love to see it happen. Placing a petal already doesn’t cancel his healing charge, or interrupt his thorn fire. It just makes sense that it would also not interrupt his reload
Weaver is arguably one of the weakest (for whatever reason) supports. A change like this is fitting and would definitely help. Not some drastic overpowered suggestion. Wouldn’t even be enough to make him stronk. Just a small “feels good” change to a hero that needs positive adjustments. I like suggestions like these.
Its a good suggestion and frankly, it doesnt feel like a suggestion but something thats been overlooked, due to it inconsistent nature w rest of kit & how the animations line up.
Something lkke this i feel would have been noticed in beta testing but since we ARE used as the free beta testers of the games new content and updates…i think its appropriate change

To be fair, the people who run the game do watch this forum. It’s just low chances that they’ll actually implement anything we want or suggest unless some big time streamer makes a fuss. Which, is very dumb.
Anyway, logically, reloading and Petal Platform shouldn’t cancel one another out because they’re using different hands and the man is ambidextrous.
I support more QoL changes.
