There’s a bug in the Liberation Toronto mission where Slicers can phase through the cargo doors of the ferry and do damage without the players being able to destroy them. This has happened on pretty much all my play throughs and makes harder difficulties pretty much impossible.
Yeah, I was coming on here to report the same; its incredibly frustrating knowing there’s almost nothing you can do to stop the slicers from destroying the cargo ship in 2 seconds when they’re not visible/stuck in the ship in expert difficulty. I think it happens with their stumble animations as they only get stuck when people boop them towards the ship it seems, and the only way to save yourself is to melee the doors and hope you’re hitting the right spot, checking for the hit markers
You can kill them with Brig, Mei, and Rein I believe. Finding their exact location is the tricky part.
Any AOE will do, but figuring out the location is a gamble sometimes. Sojourn’s aoe has a long cd, so there’s no fool proof solution.
I just lost a round to this bug. We got through the worst of the final wave, but a slicer clipped in and my disruptor shot didn’t get it in time.
Invasion story missions were clearly not playtested with legendary difficulty in mind.
The missions are so unpolished. It’s unbelievable that this was in the works for 3-4 years.
Pharah’s Concussive Blast works as well against the reality-phasing Slicers
