Level 25 requirement is ridiculous for comp

Just spent a few days leveling another smurf. What a waste of time when you need a new account for specific characters

THAT is why i hate this game

Blizzard will fix that “I need a new account for my pro Genji skillz” one day I hope. Can’t wait that day

its better than what cs:go requires.

I agree it’s rediculous.

Level requirement should be level 100

You’d halt new players into the game altogether then. You’d need like 100+ hours of bots/QP/arcade to play the only fun mode? I never woulda bothered in that case. Pretty sure many, many more never would have either. Maybe 30… maybe

The level requirement for comp should be at least 75-100.

it is ridiculous, the level requirement is too little.

If they can’t play QP to level 100 then they don’t deserve to be in comp. If they get tired of the game because of it, that’s their problem. It would deter people from making smurf accounts.

Would you be willing to do another 80 levels of non comp before you can queue for it again?
If so: I think you’re crazy but I respect your consistency.
If not: you’re a hypocrite making rules that don’t affect you so you aren’t considering the ramifications they’d have.

I absolutely would. Heck I probably play more quickplay than comp ANYWAYS. Lol

I probs do 98% or more of my time on comp barring warm ups on bots to limber my fingers. Going willingly into Arcade/QP does not compute…

Say youre a master level genji but want to play ana.

You really want that genji on ana in your games at that point? You need mult accounts and no one wants to waste time leveling to 25.

Or what if genji wants to learn widow now. You really want that genji in your diamond game as widow?

Sounds to me like you should just practice in QP. If you treat QP like you treat comp the MMR would be roughly the same and you’d get less crap maps. No reason for multiple accounts when you could just use another mode readily available.

Except you don’t need a new account for specific characters.

You choose to have multiple accounts.

Just use the one account.

There’s absolutely no requirement to have more than one account.

If ur in GM you prolly have 500 hrs on one char. Ppl cant just go pract in qp and get caught up. They need bew accounts

Yeah I’m totally on board for raising the level requirement for comp to 100, or higher. It’s one of the easiest things Blizzard could do to combat people like you. Competitive mode is a complete joke. It’s quickplay with golden guns and more toxicity.

You absolutely can go practice in Quick Play.

You do not need more than 1 account.

I can barely play quick play to lvl 5, but that doesn’t mean I don’t belong in comp

quickplay is a joke, of course you need a smurf to play other heroes.

You can get to level 100 in like 2-3 days. The first 70 levels ares the easiest to get. From 70+ its the same experience required per level from that point on. The level cap should be increased to at least 70, I would prefer 101 as its the first Prestige point. Will it annoy smurfs? yes. Will it annoy the elitist? definitely. Blizzard will make money no matter what. They will always find a way. But this will at least give a little bit of relief off the shoulders of the lower rank players.

Also they need to apply 2-step measures to the game and account where e.g. if you have 3 overwatch keys tied to your account they are tied to the same authenticator or phone number in case something “suspicious” happens they all get affected. I know of a few “smurfs” recently that have been using Alternate accounts to explore cheating.
