Let's try 250hp for McCree?

A while ago in the PTR they reverted the fire-rate and buffed his HP for compensation so why not now? Hell he is even more squishier than Tracer he needs that survivability let’s just test this out!

I want 250 HP Mcree

But not before Symmetra gets 250 HP. If Mcree got 250 HP before she did that’d be laughable balancinng.

She’s a melee range hero and doesn’t have 250 HP like EVERY other melee range DPS (Reaper, Doom, and Mei).

I think staying at 200 and exchanging 50 HP for 50 armor would be the better option. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but that’s a 25% increase in HP you’re asking for on a character who isn’t completely down and out. I think having a little buffer on Cree with armor and seeing where that takes him would be a good compromise. Lorewise you can say it’s because of his robot arm or something.

If we’re being honest here then they probably won’t do either. Usually they go with some weird thing instead of whatever the community wants at this point. Probably has something to do with the ban system being a waste of time.

I’m not necessarily opposed to increased health, but I don’t know if they’d be comfortable giving that much more health to a medium range character who is also decent at burst up close. I feel like 25 extra health could be the magic number, but they only give health in 50s for whatever reason. That’s why I think armor makes more sense. It’s extremely situational, but overall I feel like 50 health exchanged for 50 armor is roughly the same as 25 extra health.

Right, because that’s so much worse than the one-shot kill spamming pocketed Ashe. Mccree will never be a better pocket than Ashe or any other hitscan.

Personally I think 225 is a better spot for Cree because he can play at longer ranges than the other 250hp heroes

I think they should make him 175 health and 50 armor, so he gains a 225 health pool. With a 250 health pool he would be too good against Pharah.

I’ve liked the cree to 250 change from the start, it removes the need for McRambo and makes him resistant to heroes like doom and ashe.

Since the sym buff people have made their way over here, I’d say that Symm should start with a beam range buff and we should go from there. I also think turret count should go back to 6 with and show the outline of the targeted hero in exchange for less slow per turret, and 5dps per turret.

This is like the basis of initiation.

“HeroA needs more HP!”
(HeroA gets a +25 HP)
“Ok, but now HeroB feels weak in comparison…”
(HeroB gets +25 HP)
“Wow, not suddenly HeroC has the lowest HP in the game! Absurd!”
(HeroC gets +25 HP)

“Yeah OK but now HeroA is back in a bad spot again, they need more HP!”
