and better mobility. Nothing could go wrong with that.

Just remember to not lower any of Anas weaknesses while creating new weaknesses for her.
Getting rid of scatter there is no way they can screw this all up.

Scatter was a huge part of his kit so they gave him things to compensate
Well, they massively over compensated him.
and just that ability might have been enough
BUT
they gave him extra mobility
AND
increased his projectile speed
they’re fine tuning the balancing with a hammer
At least I don’t get killed by a randomly roaming scatter arrow from across the map.
It sucks playing a tank and getting one-shot, I know. But having a high powered machine gun does not make things better. It’s just a different sort of bad.
No they actually didn’t the reason storm arrows damage was so high was because scatter did that much damage in one shot people were complaining about how hanzo doesn’t need to aim so they just made it so he had to aim the individual arrows and made them headshot to reward aim
The reason the gave him mobility because unlike widow he can’t grapple away to safety and start shooting again he was pretty much dead 8-9 out of 10
They increased his arrow speed so he could be more consistant
At least you have to aim now.
And as someone often to be on the receiving end…getting killed by scatter was just a cheap and bad feeling.
Getting killed by Storm Arrow…don’t care that much.

But you could only really ever get 1 kill with Scatter.
Now you can get up to 3, and 2 REALLY consistently. I’ve been play nothing but hanzo on my alt account. currently at 3327. I peek a corner and since his projectiles had a speed increase it is VERY easy to headshot or body shot. Resulting in 1 pick right off the bat, AND a 8 second CD old FTH that you can aim.
They overtuned him. He is way too good at the role of straight up team wipes. Pretty much by himself.
I’m still triggered that they are very careful to maintain Ana’s weaknesses (and there are many of them) but they help alleviate a couple of Hanzo’s with the rework and it’s apparently all fine and dandy.

I remember the feedback for scatter and how blown out of the water it was happens to be the reason they thought they need to give him something as strong as people made scatter out to be
Literally what I said a week ago or so.
I like you, we seem to be on the same page more often than not.
You could only get 1 kill because it was single target burst but when you can actually aim individual arrows you can get more kills it makes sense
Hanzo is a sniper to begin with he’s supposed to be rewarded for aiming but he isn’t hitscan like widow is so people think he gets lucky shots and before the buff the arrow speed was slow enough that he could barely hit anything he aimed at in reality he’s supposed to be this strong but his old kit was too inconsistent
High ground wall climb doesn’t really work
But scatter was never strong, Despite what salty people thought.
It was just annoying, Which seems to be a big reason things are changed lately.
