Or I am the only one ??

I mean, the design of Ashe is pretty rad, and the cinematic was awesome. And I was so excited to know which one of the three possibilities would be given to us. The fact Ashe is another “female” hero (5 out of 8 if we count Orisa) doesn’t really bothers me, but she kinds of looks like and feels like a fusion between McCree, Moira (physically speaking) and other girls, and the abilities of a medium ranged/possibly sniper.

But Bob… Oh Bob.
This Bad Boy was waiting for us at the corner. In all his mechanical glory. His jolly good hat, his precious mustache and fancy clothes, and bulky body, sweating manly omniac oil. And here he is. A Stand for Ashe.

I’m disappointed for this. Yet, terribly excited to play Ashe nevertheless. But Blizzard, know you’ve placed your bet on the wrong horse here don’t you. Deep down in your heart… You must know it too. We wanted Bob. The Hero we needed, but didn’t deserved.

Bob will always be in my heart, when I see him activated if not nerfed and obliterated in the future. I will never forget the hopes and twinkling stars in my eyes when I saw Sire Kaplan teasing us, but quickly understanding our doom to have yet another cowboy, moreoever a lady, and as far as we know, a long ranged DPS. Bob. I will dearly miss you already. You will be like a mirage above the ocean, thumbs up in the sky, smiling at me - but I wouldn’t know it, obviously considering your wonderful facial hair that would cover your expression. My shining star in bright daylight.

Bob was a good man. A true hope for humanity, bringing back piece between omniacs, humans, hoomans, and breaking in half the toxicity of this game that threatens our harmony, in fact breaking it like this Road 66 sign he had in his divine hands for few seconds until High Noon.

Thank your for Ashe, Blizzard.
I think I will have great fun playing her, and will enjoy it.
I can’t wait for that in all sincerity and am glad for each new hero you provide.
But I wanted Bob.
All I wanted… was Bob.

I certainly want Bob more than Ashe, but Ashe is the only female character I’ve been excited for in this game as well. I wish we got both of them.

Clearly, a Junkrat/Roadhog-like release would have been a bless, but… I think it would have been too much work for Blizzard to release.

It’s like a fusion. A merge. A cookie with a piece of yum and kind of a piece of poop in it, although you are not sure it is, until you can get your hands on it and realize Bob is a Stand. Something like that.

I wanted a hero. Preferably a DPS, but a hero one way or another. As long as it wasn’t a shield cheese one, of course.

I would be interesting if Ashe and Bob were an Ice climber like duo. Or Maybe Zelda would be more appropriate. Essentially you could swap between Ashe and Bob who both have a limited but specialized tool kit.

Seems like a nightmare to balance but could be fun

I really like this idea, even if it seems highly impossible to achieve in a game like this.

This is a pivotal year for Overwatch. If they were ever going to do a double hero release then this was the time for it. Sadly, they didn’t. They showed off multiple heroes in the cinematic too… I can’t help but feel that they missed a huge opportunity to generate interest in the game and the OWL expansion at the same time.

After seeing the abilities for Ashe, I have to say she does look fun to play, but…
I kinda wanted bob more…

So now we have both with ashe having a minion for an ult (really cool concept) and bob literally being unplayable (summoning him does not count as playing as him)

Hopefully they’ll consider adding Bob at a later date. But his character has more intrigue in that bead of oil(sweat) dripping down his face and some of the current roster. lol

Exactly my feel too.

Even if I fully acknowledge the ballsy move of having one hero inside another one being his ultimate, and it fits perfectly the cinematic they showed, I can’t help to think having a double release would have been insane, yet tremendous amount of work for them.

I ship this hashtag very well my good person. I highly doubt we will ever see the rise of our god and savior Bob as anything more than a beautiful Stand, thought.

I was just about to say that I wanted BOB for Hero 30…

And then I realized…for the first time in Overwatch history…WE HAVE A SUMMONER!!

I think that alone might make our newest hero’s being a DPS be fine enough by me!
