Let's discuss: "Should Genji get his 8 seconds dragon blade back?"

After Ana came out Genji’s dragon blade got nerfed for 2 sec less for it’s duration, mainly because of the nano boost’s powerful combo with genji’s high mobility and damage. And back then there weren’t too much hero that can stop a nano boosted Genji from dominating.
But now many heros have “escaping” mobility moves that can easily avoid getting hit by Genji’s ult and more crowd control moves that can not only make him a easier target to kill but also make his dragon blade completely useless just one push of a button. Example? Brigitte.
Her shield charge is the ultimate counter for flankers, one set of combo can kill a tracer 9/10 times since the shield charge is just a Mccree flash bang and most of time people cannot escape from a stunn and the throwing hammer move. The point is, Genji counters cannot catch up while he was nano boosted before, so the nano boost nerf came right after the dragon blade nerf. But now things are different, so many heros can denie his ult by doing effortless stuff which brings up the qestion “Should we give back his old 8 seconds dragon blade?” Because to be totally honest 7/10 games I found myself finally got a dragon blade but SO afraid to use it because I KNOW some stupid nonsense is going to screw me over.
Or we should decide whether or not his dragon blade damage should be increased, an ultimate with the same damage of a junkrat and phara’s primary fire? That doesn’t make a lot of sense, at least for me.

So you’re saying you want Dragonblade buffed because now you actually have to think about when you use it? Seriously, stop being lazy and embrace the challenge. Dragonblade is one of the absolute best ultimates in the game, and it’s by far the single most reliable multi kill ability in the game.

It was actually changed because Zen’s ult is (was if you count rally) the only real counter to it and that only lasts 6 seconds.

Yeah lol I was playing a few hrs ago and got screwed over a bunch of times playing Genji, ofc I’m just a player who plays a lot of genji but not really a good one so my opinions are really just OPINIONS haha
